KimT Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Set#: EB002 Set Name: Space Hottes Set#1 "The Harvest" Parts: A hottie, her harvest vehicle, a deep space banana tree & some crops. Price: Not ever for sale Amount: Limited Edition - 20 sets ever made Designer: Xwingyoda & CopMike So without further comments I bring you the "Space Hotties" Isn't she lovely? Even when she wields a broad axe she looks good The entire set. Can you spot how many rare pieces have been used to build this? The "Certificate of Authenticity And a few shots of the individual parts: Not much to say about this set, except that it surprised most of us. The effort spend gathering the parts, making the minifig and designing the set was really (and still is) by all the eventees. I just wish and hope that we'll see a "Space Hotties" set#2. Quote
Davey Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Great review of an awesome looking event kit. I'll be eagerly awaiting the release of Space Hotties #2. -Dave Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Nice one. A sequel to this fine set would be nice sometime in the future. What set is the printed base of the tree from? The sand bananas could possibly used for less ripe bananas but I'm guessing they're 'rare' pieces. Quote
dabulls03 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 The printed piece at the base of the tree is the top bun of plankton's robot Krabby Patty from 4981 Chumbucket Notice the sesame seed prints. The tan bananas are from 4767 Harry and the Hungarian Horntail I don't know what set the white plants/leaves are from though... Quote
JCC1004 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Worth the wait. It does look spacey. To ba Xwingyoda isn't around. Does anyone know what happened to him? Quote

I'm just curious about the history of EB. So I don't want this be be off topic so can I talk to you about this via pm? Quote
KimT Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 It's before my time as staff here, but not before I became a member. Let's keep it simple and say that there was a 'fall-out' and they left/were demoted and started their own site as they'd want it to be. No more, no less. Quote

user Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Woah (Drools) the minifig is... okay but the amount of rare and special pieces is the true highlight of this set especially the tree. Quote
