Isomniac generally does a good job of things (it made both Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank), even if it is difficult to pronounce their name.

Yes, I know that. That's why I used to think that R&C was a cheap knock-off kids version of J&D until I found out that it's actually quite different.

I also know that they are releasing the PSP game, and I am excited for it too, but I'd like them to make a game for the PS3 because they could fully make use of the PS3's potential. Daxter was a good game, but not nearly as great as the PS2 games. The Lost Frontier looks like a big improvement over Daxter and might even rival one of the first PS2 games, but it's simply not as great as it could have been on the PS3, you know what I mean?

I find R&C to be far more entertaining than J&D. Of course, both of them are different in many ways, despite working side by side: eg. the gadgets and weapons, different worlds, city environments, plots, etc.

Unfortunately, I still don't have a PSP, so I can't say anything about the other Jak games (and I don't have Jak 3).

I loved Crash Team Racing... I was hoping they'd release it as a PSN download (though Pixel Junk is very good).

Yeah i do get it, unfortunately high impact games seem to only do psp games, i guess its a matter of opinion, but it looks ok, but i wouldn't hold my breath, H.I i thought did a horrible job with the R&C series on psp, but then my main grip was 5 years of playing the games with TWO analogue buttons, which is also why i never really got into the psp, 10 years of Dual sticks and then they give us 1.

Speaking of which there seems to be rumours that the reason R&C ACIT is going to be so big is because this is it, in an interview at E3 the guy seemed to imply ratchet and clank would go their own ways, and that Insomniac will just end the series, or some think the future lies in more games like gladiator (dreadlock) and secret agent clank.

I hope not, its like pizza with no cheese.

Sadly for anyone wanting Mini Ninjas (Aussies) the bigw website which says it out today they dont actually have them in the shops.

This as got to be the best game this year, but no one can give a release date, even the American sites list it as different dates.

Also i can confirm as i just got a pop up, 3.00FW is live on the EU PSN.

I haven't played those in ages! It would be great if there could be more of those obscure games available on PSN. But I understand the concern that a lot of people may not purchase them

Um, well, I used to own a PSOne.

But I'm mostly a Nintendo fan. Although I must admit, Crash Team Racing was far better than the current version of the game it was based off of, Mario Kart 64. Tracks were more interesting, there was far more unlockable stuff and replay value, and it had an actual story mode. On the other hand, the only thing worthwhile about Mario kart 64 was the battle mode.

Yeah well sony is trying to focus on PS3 games, but still pushing old popular games, the games you get really depend on the company, see capcom is going nuts for it, there is already a few games and more coming, i believe JP PSN already has its own capcom section.

As for crash, well Naughty Dog sold it which is why its not as good, just like command and conquer.

Anyone got the Slim?.

What do you guys think of 3.00, its not too bad, the digital and analogue clock is odd, and then PSN under games is odd, i like the new start up sound, allot softer, but the sparkles?, what were they thinking.

I totally forgot about that! It's on my list of games to get for the PS3, once I get one.

EDIT: I did however play the demo at various stores. It's very cool.

Oh, it's a brilliant game - get it ASAP. I'd put it on a par with Batman: Arkham Asylum, plus it's technically a 3PS but unlike any other one.

I'm ambivalent on 3.0 - I like the update to the friends list, but I'm not a fan of the ginormous icons.

3.0 is okay in my book. It's not revolutionary, but the XMB does look a little bit sharper.

I've only played the demo for Infamous as well. I enjoyed it well enough. I just haven't made it a purchase yet

Fortunately TFU Ultimate Sith Edition is out by the end of the year with the Hoth mission you can only play by buying the game.

What's odd about that is when you download the update for the trophies, all the Hoth trophies come with it(they're locked though). It makes me wonder if they'll just release it later on to download?

I like the 3.0 update... véry much. For one: A lot of stuff works I didn't even know exist (therefore didn't work like they were supposed to) before...

It's the original game, with all the previous DLC, and a new (and apparently exclusive, but we'll see how long that lasts ) Level (Hoth).

The Hoth level will remain exclusive, other wise who would buy the game, I also believe there will be a dlc for this TFU:USE.

As for the ISD, im guessing you don't have the game still, its been fixed, either the 2.00 or the Tatooine mission has fixed the problem, it is far less awkward trying to get it down, I never used to be able to pull it down in one go even on easy, but now I can.

EU PSN update, nothing special, the wipeout dynamic theme isn't bad, there's a ship and it moves around and stuff.
