It could have some applications - like it could be used to make a cutscene like the end of Wanted [if you haven't seen it, it's an enormous zoom-like shot following a bullet].

Has everyone heard about the accidental leaking by Sega of minutes from a SCEA meeting. You can read (and download) the full thing here, but to me the hight light is the mentioning of a PS2 emulator. I've been expecting it for a while now, and I'd just started giving up hope!

BTW I haven't forgetten this thread, I have just been told im spending too much time in this section which apparently is against the rules.

Colours: Probably true only for Japan.

Yep there are colours, there is a possibility we will get some, i know Australia got a silver ps2, and Australia also has a white and silver psp3000 im sure there will be colours for all countries.

Just for proof, silver ps3 slim 250gig special edition bundle with final fantasy 13, but i doubt this will be anywhere other than JP.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but I heard there maybe will be a PS4 around 2011.

If that rumor is true, I'm glad I got a PS2 as the PS3 is expensive now, but when the PS4 gets released it will go down in price I think. (just like what happened to the PS2 when the PS3 came out)

That's really nice! As for the colours, we'll see. Sure we got the silver one, but that was just overflow from a TV promotion... and it was quite late in the PS2 life cycle.

I doubt it. Consoles have a long development cycle; no way would a 100% new console come out that fast. What I have heard is that Sony are considering doing an enhanced PS3 first. I hope that rumor is false too, but I think it's more likely. After all; all the original PS3s had a SPU disabled to increase yields. By now that wouldn't be a problem and I think there is a good chance that they have stopped doing that in a physical way. It wouldn't surprise me if there is a software method to re-enable it for recent PS3s, as well as increase the clock frequency. (My PS3 rarely even get warm, unlike my 360.) They pulled a similar trick with the PSPs...

Personally I think the PS3 is a bargain.

The PSX PS2 both had 10 year life cycles, so will the PS3, that so called PS4 aint happening yet, I have hear that rumour too, its more likely PS3.5 in other words im positive Sony wont drop a PS4 in 2011, what you will most likely see in 2011 is 500 or 1TB PS3 with out a blu-ray player, Sony has already said they want to go digital media, and they already have the PSPGo which has no UMD drive and is only able to play downloaded games, and that is what Sony will release in 2011, and its predicited in like 10 years retail will go the way of beta and VHS and it will all be downloads.

Im sure i wont get one, i highly doubt Australias so called next gen broadband network will be even started by then, or no doubt the morons will block PSN downloads with their stupid filter.

It is nice, but I was expecting more of a white system with just pink accents like the PS3 logo, and not a picture of that FFXIII character

I'll bet my lunch that you'll see a PS4 sooner than you think. Technology gets more advanced every year with picture quality as well as game graphics. Sony will have no choice but to get working on a replacement. Maybe not by 2011, but definitely not in no ten year time either.

Move across the XMB to PSN network, access PSN, games addon, M - P.

How ever it says you are in Holland, the MUA2 DLC is only out on the USA PSN, I just checked the EU PSN (Australia is on the EU) and there is nothing.

And if your thinking of getting it off USA then don't, PS3 games are region free, DLC is region coded, meaning if you buy a game in Holland you can only use DLC downloaded via the EU PSN.

My guess is it will be added soon, and yes I know how suckfull it is, the EU gets jack compared with the USA and JP.

Hm, I don't 'use' (is that the correct verb in this case?) the PSN, just the Playstation Store, so I don't know if that will be an issue, if it gets to the EU?

But at least now I know that I'm impatient, as usuall

I'm sorry I guess there is a language barrier, PSN = PlayStation Network which is the playstation store, actually it covers the store and firmware as well as game servers.

No its just they are slow releasing things, Mini Ninjas was released 3 days in the EU after the USA and 3 weeks after the USA in Australia, problem is with things like games the EU has I think 15 different languages, so it takes more time.

I just downloaded - and played - the demo for Arkham Asylum. It's pretty cool.

But I want to know if the rest of the game is worthwhile. Are there any EB owners that can give me a full review? I'd check some gaming website, but they're under "scheduled maintenance."

Beating up baddies is awesome, but it can get a little repetitive, which is why I want to know how much strategy is involved.

Just found a cool download, Motioninjoy, its a driver that lets you use your ps3 controller with your PC, it works pretty good but I can't get the Analogue sticks to work.

Hey all,

I've got a problem, and I hope this is the right place to ask it, as this is "PlayStation general discussion".

I hoped some of you might be able to help me out, I've had this problem for quite a while, and it's about my memory card, well the problem is;

Each time I want to play on my PS2, I have to insert my memory card for a second time (sometimes it works immediately), and then I start playing a game, after a while of playing (say, 15 minutes?) the memory card suddenly seems to be disconnected, but I never take it out of the PS2 when it's still on. It suddenly says "memory card has been disconnected". Then I start trying to save to see if it works to, it says "no memory card inserted, etc.", I find this very annoying as I can't play a game normally anymore, when I'm in the middle of a level it suddenly disconnects... (yes I tried blowing into it a heap of times already)

I use a 64MB memory card from "Qware" (Sony ones weren't available anymore, and I don't think Qware is the problem as it has never happened to my little brother at all and he has a Qware card too)

I would highly appreciate some help, I'm worried I won't be able to normally retrieve my old saves anymore.

Have you tried the second memory card slot.

And hate to say it but more than likely your card, i have 3 64mb cards and all died, don't know why but your just better off with a 8mb standard Sony memory card.

If you loose your saves, well that's why there are sites with game saves such as gamefaq, all you need is a pen/flash drive.
