Your 2006 Wishlist

Which sets are you aiming to get this year? For me, it's the four main Exo-Force's, Bionicle's Axonn, Brutaka, Piraka, Matoran, the big $30 set and the second set of canisters. Jabba's Sailbarge looks cool, but'll cost a lot.

Well, my plan is getting 3 airports and turn them into a decent one.

Plus getting 3 hospitals and turn them into a decent one too (I'll have to get rid of the elavated baseplates!!).

'06 is going to be such an expensive year !!!!

On my will buy list (from the sets we know):

* SW: 2 Bwings, 2 or 3 Interceptors, Slave1 & 2 V-wings, Sailbarge & ISD

* City: all medical & transportation theme + huge crane

* Exo force: gate assault + the 3 new sets

* All Batman theme

* EDIT: how can I forget the biggest Ferrari Finish Line set !!!!

On my maybe list depending on parts and money I have left:

Well.. The sets I am aiming to definitively get are:

StarWars:

B-Wing, and A-Wing.

City:

Ambulance, Rescue Helicopter(despite having the Mysterious Worker At seaTM), Airport Mechanic, and Crane thingy.

Exo Force:

Gate Assault, The four Mecha, Sentai HQ, and Hero Tank.

Ferrari:

Both Minifig scale sets.

What I really wish for?

Ultimate Collectors Series castle set: 3000 pieces, $200, classic castle style, no burps, no bionicle bits, no useless vehicles or weapons or battering rams or anything. Just a beautiful complex structure and lots of figs.

Dream on.

What I will likely buy this year?

Any big technic set

new Mindstorms if it can do something the old Mindstorms can't

New designers

Xpods

Anything with big structures (castle-like or house like), whether it comes from Batman or Avatar or something else. If there are good complex Bionicle sets (not playsets) I would get those as well. Axon and Brutaka look reasonably good, but would really want something double the size.

Sets I'll definitely be getting:

- A-wing (the only January 2006 SW set I don't have)

- Sailbarge (great figs, and the Barge, Skiff and Sarlaac look awesome)

Other sets I'm considering getting:

- New X-Pods

- 7893 Passengar Plane (I might not get it since it's a bit big and I don't have much room)

- One of the Exo-Force mechs

- Striking Venom (also unlikley because of how big it is)

- Sentai Headquarters (ditto)

- Hero Tank

- Batman sets (most likely Batwing and the Batmobile, but I might get the others for the figs)

- 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer (I've already got the UCS one)

- Ferrari Finish Line (should go well with my Ferrari Truck)

- Ferrari 430 Spider (should go well with my Enzo)

- police boat 7899 (planning to customize some shadow knight boats)

- airplane mechanic (multiples)

- possibly the medical sets

- the new KK2 bigfigs (wave 3 does look promising, and the greaves could make for nice minifig columns/pillars)

- perhaps some exo-force "things" for parts...only for parts!

- piraka reidak (the black one) in multiples -> crazy idea for a minifig cthulhu ^^

and that's about it...well, new vikings of course...

edit: forgot minifig KK2.3 sets...hell will I love them ^^!

I might grab a few Batman sets, but most of my purchases will be from Bricklink (still the best LEGO resource for classic builders). Thus far, 2006 looks a bit dull. Hopefully there are a few surprises to come.
