Sam Vimes Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hello There Penguin, and Hello EuroBricks, Penguin I have some Ideas for more Batman Legos. Here are some of the Ideas. Jason Todd Batman In one comic he becomes the Batman. Hush Danny Devito Penguin Red Robin Dick Grayson Batman Professor Pyg Well Enjoy, I would love for you to make these. Quote
Oky Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Liked it? I love it! Bruce Lee Wayne in training clothes looks great, but I'm not sure about that hairpiece on Robin. Barriss' torso looks good on Catwoman; those little things on the belt buckle look like cat eyes in this combination, which is neat. Scarecrow looks pretty accurate and very scary and the Freeze henchmen are just hilarious (though you are right about the numbers; simply covering them up would do the trick me thinks)! Joker's new henchies are good too, although I like your previous versions better. I wish the official mime came with an angry face. Have you considered using the grinning face for a Joker victim? Anyway, I don't really like the Joker himself. He just looks too creepy and too un-lego-like. But Ivy certainly takes the cake in this collection! Her hair is perfect, and all the other details on her body make her even better! Great job on that one! I think you just convinced me to get the Series 2 Which. Nice to see you're back at making these and I can't wait to see more! To the Okymobile! Edited August 30, 2010 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
The Penguin Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) Nice to see you back with such a collection of 'good' new characters, Penguin You really found some useful and inventive uses for the Series 2 figs here! Thank you very much, LuxorV! ) I'm glad and proud that you liked them. I hope that the upcoming parts won't disappoint you. ) Welcome back, The Penguin. I hope you have an enjoyable long vacation. Great job on your recent Batman customisation creations, it's enjoyable to see that you are able to further develop Batman context into another greater heights. I love the way you used those Series 2 minifigs. Thank you very much, WhiteFang! ) You know how I always value your opinion. And receiving such a high rating is a true pleasure for me. BTW, it was your great review of Series 2 minifigs that inspired me to make most of them. ) How did u change the torsos skin from yellow to light flesh ? Oh, it's a delicate art of using tiny brushes and modelling paints, my friend. ) How could I have possibly missed this? Yet again you have made me feel the need to say that you've done a great job, what kind of gentelman(besides a crazy one) would I be if I didn't say it. I like theese very much, I personaly only have two collectable minifigs(a magician and a clown(am I the only one who sees the irony?)) and I never thought of using them to make batman characters, I mostly like(of course) the Joker, your minifig's new hair and face look very nice. Poison Ivy also looks beatiful as ever, even though I would have gone with a lighter green if I had the chance, freeze's goons remember me of "Batman and Robin"(terrible, terrible movie) because, much like in the movie, they look ready to play hockey, and that's why I never again believed in Schumacher... and he first minifigure of all(dare I make the pun?) looks pimpin'(I did, I did!). Theese were the ones who caught my eye the most, the Scarecrow's goons aren't really new(nor alive for that matter) and "Kung-fu action Bruce Wayne and Timmy boy" are nice but not something I'd make... also I like the fact that you are "making" employees, why didn't the Americans think of that before making everyone suffer from the economy?(Then again money isn't a problem for me(yet!) so I shouldn't be complayning(yet!)) And of course the Black gate guards are as loveable as "huginess" allows without becoming innapropriate, I like anyone that keeps Bane locked up, I didn't pay him after his last failed service... Cheers my feathered friend, I hope next time I pay more attention to this sub-forum, I don't want to miss any other installment of "The Amazing Penguin's "Fantabulastical" Batman Minifigures!" By- The goon who wants to go to the moon while sharing doom filling tomb(s) P.s:"Kung-fu action Bruce Wayne and Timmy boy" was indeed a "Family Guy" joke, Comedy is the one thing I don't want to dye yet I'm not helping it to live either... Oh, that crazy-crazy boy! You never fail to amaze me with your posts, my friend! ) Thank you very much for your kind words. I agree about Poison Ivy, she could use a lighter tone, perhaps, I should try that one day. ) And rest assured that Bane is safely locked-up in Blackgate. At least he was on the moment I was released from there! ) You were right in the fact that those new collectable minifigures are useful I really love ivy a lot, brill job on her! Thank you very much! Ivy is indeed, perhaps, one of my most favourite latest customs. ) Wow! Those Collectible figs sure do some in handy, eh? I couldn't agree more. ) Great work The Penguin, I really like that you've used so many collectible mini-figures parts. I especially like the angry faces of the mimes. Thank you. I'm glad you liked them! ) I like it. It's a good part. Thanks. Hello There Penguin, and Hello EuroBricks, Penguin I have some Ideas for more Batman Legos. Here are some of the Ideas. Good day, Sam Vimes! ) And welcome to EB community. I'm proud that you chose my topic for one of your first posts. And thank you for your ideas! The ideas you proposed are just great! I'll definitely try to make some of them. However I should say that I'm not going to make either De Vito, or THE BATMAN Penguins. They are a disgrace to the gentleman villain the Penguin is. Sorry for rough words, but I really don't like the monstrous approach to the character. Liked it? I love it! Thanks a lot, Oky! ) you're always very kind to my humble figures! ) Yes, Offee's cat-eyes belt is really good for Catwoman. It didn't even require to be altered. Why do you all hate that hair on Robin!? OMG, Oky, thanks a TONN! I've never thought of that! The face will be just perfect for the victim! I hope you'll like the upcoming..... m-m-m-m-m-m..... thing I have for you. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited August 31, 2010 by The Penguin Quote

I hope you'll like the upcoming..... m-m-m-m-m-m..... thing I have for you. ) Not sure... It just doesn't look like Robin. His hair should be either neat like in The Batman or unruly like in TNBA. Here it looks like he tried to tame his hair, but failed. I wonder what the Karate Master's hair would look like on a costumed Robin. It seems like the closest you can get to the The Batman version. You're welcome. Just be sure to give me credit when making one. I might make a little MOC involving a Joker victim when I get them mime myself. I'm looking forward to it - whatever it is. I'm sure the upcoming Arkham City game will provide some interesting designs for you turn into minifigs, such as the catwoman who looks like she is wearing goggles. Quote

Sam Vimes Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Ok here is somthing I have been wanting you to make for a while, what I mean by wanting you to make is, I was wanderer before coming and joining the forums. It would be so cool if you took certian Batman Villans and made them look like they would be in of the Nolan's Version of Batman Universe, what I am saying is, what would The Riddler look like Nolan Style or Catwoman or yourself, so if you could just try experminting with that would be awesome. Still it amazes me that you take time to, not only make theese amazing minifigures, but to reply to an awkward man much like myself, I can only hope one day you decide to make Hush, his undead Jason Todd scheme was just fantastic, I personally would have thought of it myself if I had contact with Clayface.(If you don't know what I'm talking about then I would advise you to catch up with the Hush saga) Cheers, my feathered friend. The Penguin Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) Ladies and gentlemen! A new part is here! Originally it was to be bigger, but I have not received yet certain parts, so i desided to split it into two. I hope you'll like it, anyway. ) Gotham biker gang. (Even those world racers sets can be useful for Batman! ) "Hey, Bruce, you look pale! Are you....." Oh, no! It's H.A.R.D.A.C's android! Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of "THE BATMAN" show, they did have some great characters, like the gay-like Riddler: ....or like Frank Gorshin Hugo Strange (oh, that voice! ): ....but they also had some terrible ones, like that Penguin! Cesar Romero Joker. ) (No minifig can express his maniacal look! ) And now the fig I really like. Mia Sara's Harley Quinn! ) (From Birds of Prey Series....) I hope you liked that part! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited September 25, 2010 by The Penguin Quote
sok117 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Pretty good, I especially like the HARDAC Batman robot. THE BATMAN figures are okay given their awful cartoony appearence that you had to work with. Still waiting for a Red Robin though... Quote
???theriddler??? Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Good part Penguin, all the figs are good. H.A.R.D.A.C. fig is the best of them all. But i dont like TDK logo on it. I don't like The Batman figures. I loved the first two seasons of the show, then it goes downwards. And i also liked the Penguin from the show. . I think he's better then Danny DeVito's penguin. Cesar's joker is also awesome! Quote
Sam Vimes Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Penguin awesome as normal, so how is the next batch coming. Quote
prateek Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Gay riddler... I couldn't agree more. I really like the hair on him though! The painted android is awesome too! Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 No minifig can express his maniacal look! ) But yours came close! I enjoyed the rest, though the fact they come from 'The Batman' mares then somewhat. Quote
The_Box Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 These are amazing figures. Your Scarecrows are my favorites. TNAS Scarecrow and Arkham Asylum Scarecrow left me speechless. I have a request: The Riddler from The Joker book, that was made when The Dark Knight was coming out in the theaters. All the villians in that book look somewhat different from every other incarnation of them. This has probably been said before but where are Batgirl and Man-bat? Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Fantastic work as usual, Penguin! Great use of the World Racers parts. They really suit a biker gang! H.A.R.D.A.C.'s android is great, but I'd say his eyes look a bit too close together. The Riddler is wonderful! Perfect painting and scuplted hair! Hugo Strange is very nice. Even though you haven't used any sculpey, he still looks like a big bloke. The Penguin is brilliant, although the trousers look a little scruffy. Having the stripes all the way round his legs might look better too. I'd say you did an excellent job of recreating the Joker's crazy look. An amazing fig! The painting on Harley looks really terrific! The small use of sculpey on her hair really enhances her look. I'm looking forward to the next part! Quote
blhc11 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Holy frijole sandwiches! I have missed this one due to not loging in! This is a great job you've got, I like that you finally made "The Batman" characters, even though no one seems to like the series(I like how crazy I look in it!) And as always I enjoyed your other characters like HARDAC and Romero's Joker(even though I prefer the official head...) and Harley looks gorgeous(Now I definatly need to check out Birds of Prey!). Cheers, my "cool" friend(Damn, it's Batman and Robin all over again -_- ) By- a clown without a frown for the batch of goo changed his color too and where there was once some more skin, now is a "perma-grin"... I need to go learn how to rhyme now. Quote
Oky Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 That last batch was pretty nice, The Penguin! All of them are very spot-on. It's been kinda slow here lately, but I can fully understand if you're more into Harry Potter at the moment (and I certainly don't mind it either)! But just in case you want to get back to making Batfigs, I thought I'd throw some ideas out there. One thing that would be interesting to see would be a Bat-Mite fig! And while you're at it, you could make other fifth-dimension characters such as Joker-Mite (from the Brave and the Bold episode "Emperor Joker") or Larry (from the Teen Titans episode "Fractured"). Also, I suppose you could also do the Harley Quinn re-design from Emperor Joker, though I didn't care much for that particular design to be honest. And have you ever done the Terrible Trio? I can't remember. Shouldn't be too hard to make using the Studios Werewolf head and Atlantis shark head. But of course you can also make them from scratch, as you always so brilliantly do. Quote
The Penguin Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Thanks a lot, people, for your kind comments! I trully appreciate your opinion! And I should also thank you for your suggestions, concerning the bnew figs and models! ) And here's time for a new bunch, of course! ) Gothan City Park 2 A.M. "Hm, I kinda glad I moved to Gothan from Metropolis. It's so nice here, no fuss, high salary, no...." "Hey! What kind of freak are you! Stop right there!" "NEVER call me a freak! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!" "Oh, dear! It seems we need a doctor here! Is there a doctor around!?" "Yep, there is, Mister J! Doctor Quinzelle is here!" "Laughter is indeed the best medicine, Mister J.!" Meanwhile in Iceberg Lounge. P: What are you smirking about? R: I got a new costume! Dark green is really popular this season! R: What are you so happy about? P: I got a new haircut! R: No way! Me too! R&P: We definitely need to change our stylists.... I hope you liked that part! ) Any comments, please? ) P.S. Credit for Joker's victim idea goes to Oky Wan Kenobi. Though I didn't wish to stop on the mime's face and decided to make it a bit more creepy! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Great job on the Joker's victim! I also love the custom hair of Dr. Quinzelle. Keep it up The Penguin! Quote
ADHO15 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Great work, Penguin! That victim's face is fantastic! The new Doctor Quinzelle is very nice and I love the Riddler's new look. You're also looking good wth your new haircut! Quote
Oky Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Great work again, Penguin! That hairpiece works amazingly well for the Riddler! Not so sure about the Penguin. And no offense, but I like the regular mime face better than what you made. Yours is just a bit too creepy. Quote
Sam Vimes Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Nice work Penguin But may I ask a favor, I haved noticed how different members have gotten requests on here for you to do different stuff. Could you do Hush for me please I would really like it if you did. Quote
blhc11 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 WOW! These aren't as many as I grew used to per batch, but their look more than makes up for that. I really feel sad that you don't visit TBH, especially since I started posting batman decals there... Still my favorite is the Riddler(sorry Pengi, but he was more heavily modified and makes me remmember Batman Forever, eventhough that movie sucked, I loved the "crazy" approach to the Riddler's character). Cheers, El Penguino and keep up the good work. By: A guy who just loves pies to the face, you gotta embrace the classics(and switch the interior of the pie with dinamite) Quote
