How about some tree and flower packs to bring some natural decoration to our towns and cities? Also, some basic street furniture such as lights, signs and benches.

- Trees, flowers and bushes

- Fences, gates and benches

- Lights and signs

Basic items that bring a city to life...

Great topic, here is what'd like to see:

1) A car dealership, we have decades of cars and trucks but, where did they come from (besides TLG). I think a large size building (not modular) with a 2 car showroom and couple offices. On the outside, have a fenced in area for a few more cars. Included should be 3 cars and four minifigs, 3 salesmen and 1 buyer. The price should be between $100-$120

2) A new up monorail. Not too much to explain. A rerelease 6399 Airport Shuttle or a redesigned 6 wide would be nice. Pricing $140-$170.

3) For the third I was thinking a new hospital but, eh there have been a few over the past two decades. So, I thought, how about something we have never had. I think a recycling center would be nice. TLG has given us plenty of recycling trucks but, nowhere to take it. It should include a dumping pit with a crane to scoop it to a conveyor belt to a crusher. It would need an office attached to overlook and a final product storage and a small flatbed truck. It would need at least 3 worker minifigs and maybe 1 manager. The price should be $100-$120

Thats what I'd like to see from TLG :classic:

Judging from the content you listed, I'd say it would only be a bit more expensive than the Bank Money Transfer set. Probably $70-80 IMO.

Prison complex. Forget the vehicles, The police prisoner transport covers that. I want a big cell block, exercise yard, governors office, solitary confinement cells, infirmary, watchtowers, sliding main gate, secret escape tunnel, Governor and officers, prisoners in both stripey tops and orange jumpsuits.

City park. large green space maxed out with trees and bushes and plants and flowers. park benches, fountain, kids playground, lamp posts, maybe a little bridge over a duck pond, meandering pathways, walled/fenced perimeter. Oh and a little corner with a chess table for old guys. there should probably be some landscaping too with trees on hillocks and why not throw in a minifig statue on a plinth as a tribute to the very first minifig.

Office tower block. millions of windows and doors, working elevator, photocopy room, office cubicles, management offices, boardroom, vending machine, water cooler, coffee machine, telephones, computers, reception desk, motorcycle courier, some sort of 3D sculpture logo at the front of the tower, like a globe or abstract street number. And obviously set appropriate minifigs.

Great topic, and easy to answer:

1. Hospital: We know it's coming in the next year or two, and all of this waiting is only raising my expectations, so here's hoping that TLG delivers. I'm not expecting some 300-room facility, but there's no reason not to expect a full service ER entrance, an operating room, a waiting room (I can see the little sticker-on-tile magazines in my mind already), an X-ray room, about two or three patient rooms, and finally an awesome ambulance. Figures would include a surgeon, two nurses, two patients (perhaps with a clip on cast for the arm, or even one white leg to simulate a cast), a civilian relative for the patients, and two emergency medical personnel for the ambulance. Add on sets would certainly include the airlift helicopter, another surgeon with car, perhaps a little hospital visit impulse with a sick patient in bed, and maybe even an accident scene with a second ambulance to save someone who was hurt. Lots of possibilities, and unlike so many other civil service branches, we have yet to really see one done well.

2. Schoolhouse: We don't need some sprawling high school campus... I'd be happy with an old-school single room schoolhouse with 8 or 9 desks stretching out in the main floor, with teacher's desk in front complete with a globe and an apple. Other details would include a chalkboard (or wipeboard as is more common today), a little foyer vestibule in front of the main classroom with some hat racks, a bell steeple that would mount directly above the front foyer, and perhaps a little washroom in the back. The set would be even more impressive by using a larger size baseplate to include a little recess/playground beside the school itself, with a brick-built jungle gym, swing set, or monkey bars apparatus. Figures would include the female teacher, about 5 or six kids, and a crossing guard out in front. This set would be killer if they paid attention to the little details-- the devil's always in the details!

3. Grocery Store: I'd bet the designers have toyed with this idea before, and likely the biggest problem is SIZE. But, if it was done well enough I think it'd sell. Fairly large, open building with four or five rows of shelves. I'd love to see how they might create dry goods and bottles out of simple cylinders and small studs. Down in front there might be two checkout areas, and it would be absolutely essential that we'd get our first molded shopping carts! A nice full window facade in front would be complimented by a small parking lot for two or three vehicles. Other areas might include the butcher's area, the frozen food case, and an open produce display in the front of the store. Figures would include two clerks, another stockboy, three or four customers, a butcher, and the store manager. Plus we could do the entire set in a new color scheme with a new market logo that would carry on throughout the entire theme. Additional sets might include a figure set of additional shoppers and goods, a delivery van of produce or meat, and perhaps a gas station area that could be positioned just outside the market itself. Thanks for shopping at the Lego market!

1.More civilian cars as stand-alone small sets. And preferably in interesting colors like green or blue or orange instead of the usual red or yellow so often seen on civilian cars. How about a closed-top sports car in the style of cars like the Nissan 350z, Porsche 911 and similar (rather than the usual convertible that TLG seems to do). Or a pickup truck? Or an SUV? (maybe similar to the one in the horse trailer set). Or maybe a hatchback or station wagon?

Each car would come with only the car and a driver, nothing else (so no telephone or whatever like in the recent red sports car set).

2.Barber shop/hairdresser. Could come with a whole pile of different hair pieces for kids to have fun trying different hair on their figs. Would be popular with AFOLs as well as a source of hair. Minifigs could be one barber/hairdresser plus 3 customers (plus the aforementioned hair). Inside the shop would be some barber chairs to cut the hair in, a sink for washing hair, a front counter and maybe a rack of shampoos and stuff.

The box for this set would exclaim in big letters all about the play feature of the multiple different hairpieces

(could be an excuse to produce certain hairpieces in new colors)

3.A followup to the City Corner set. Could include maybe a burger joint or ice cream shop instead of the pizzeria, replace the bus with a few civilian cars instead, the bike shop could become a post office.

Instead of the bus stop, maybe have a payphone.

Minifigs would be postman on his postman bike (yellow bicycle would be great or maybe TLG could use this as a way to introduce a scooter), fast food worker, 2 drivers of the civilian cars plus 2 more figs (one of which would be a kid with the short legs)

I think your's is the best list on here! (including better than mine!) If it could be the 5 sets we want the most then yours and mine together would be great! (I did a school too)

Is TLG receiving this list? Sometimes I think they read EB - Series 5 minifigs and the Minifig Wish List ave very similar!!!

From an afol perspective I want to see

1. Amusement park - actual moving rides (to add on to carousel set). A minifig scale of the ferris wheel or roller coaster will be great

2. A base modular New York apartment block ( three floors ) however they release single floors as 'add on' sets so you can build higher

3. Industrial sets such as electrical power stations, factories etc

I would like to see:

1. A school with school bus

2. An ice cream truck

3. A gas station similar to the 1980 Exxon station, but with Octan stickres and colors, as well as other updates.

I would like:

1. A lagre grocery store with fish, bread, cherries, apples, carrots, hot dogs, chicken, ice cream, newspaper, and pizza with a couple of checkout counters. This might be $60-100 dollars.

2. A school with a cafetiria, 2-4 classrooms, bathrooms, and a plentiful amount of minifigures. Price could vary much

3. A mall or strip mall. A small food court with a couple of food stands. A clothing store with pants, hats, shirts, perfume. A toy store with teddy bears, mini lego sets, etc. A book store, a sports store... just some store thoughts.

If lego came out with all these, some more car and house variations, and a gas station, I would be very happy! :classic::sweet::grin: I just hope we get some of these sets before I eventually look like this! :yoda: Keep on thinkin'!

I think it would be cool to see...

1. A police jail, possibly on an island doesn't matter

2. A submarine of some sort, could be rescue, police etc.

3. I know it has been mentioned but a nice school and playground would be cool :sweet:

These are all excellent ideas and wishes!

I was always saying it - now this topic shows that a school won't be that unpopular than some people suggested.

So let's hope that TLG reads this list (as well as the topic "Ideas for new City sets") and is going to release all these amazing sets in the next years!

I just hope we get some of these sets before I eventually look like this! :yoda:

I completely agree with you, mahon881!

1. A circus tent to go with the merry-go-round. Could have lion and lion tamer, elephant, sealion with musical horns act, tight rope act, trapese act, man cannon, tiger act where they jump through hoops, some clowns like in the minifig series 1 and 5 and ofcourse the ring master with a few audiences.

2. A lego city park could be on 4 green 32x32 baseplates (big park), walled park with plenty of trees & plants, some benches a few bins, lights, pond with ducks, a dog walker, people having a picnic, skateboarder and/or cyclist, a police officer, people with a football or frisbee, maybe a fountain or statue in the middle.

3. Campsite, could be on a 32x32 baseplate with river running through. 4x4 plus minifig with backpack and fishing rod, tent & campfire, a few logs, a spit with fish and a brown bear, just like the polar bear but brown and some trees.

1. Definitely a decent hospital. Ambulance bay with attached emergency ward, surgery, wards, cafe, x-ray machine etc.

2. A street market. I think that could be quite nice, a road plate or two with gates/fencing on both ends to block the street off along with a number of different stalls (hot food, gifts and so on) along with seating. It would be good to have the stalls free-standing in such a way that the constructor can place them in any location he/she sees fit.

3. A new public works centre, similar to a re-imagining of 6383 (http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=6383-1).

Ultimately, I could probably raise the number of wanted sets to about 30, but I'll limit it to the 3 that are really on my mind right now!!

1) Public Mini-Storage Center

- Office, entrance gate and 3 mini-warehouse units.

- Rental type moving truck.

- 3 figs: Office manager and 2 moving guys.

- Brick built furniture that would fit in both the moving truck and warehouse units.

2) Electrical Substation

- A small electrical substation with surrounding fence.

- An electric company truck with cherrypicker basket.

- 2 electric company workmen.

3) Church

- Church with belltower.

- Horse-drawn wedding carriage (with "Just Married" sign on back).

- 5 figs: Priest/minister, Bride, Groom, Photographer and carriage driver.

1. Church. This has historically been the central element of European small-town life, and the church tower is still so often the literal high point of many small towns. You could also have a small cloister attached with some monks.

2. Recycling Center. Some cool machinery could be introduced here, with a scooper on tracks, conveyor belt, sorting machine. You could convert it to a factory, too.

3. Restaurant. Including the front dining room, and all the back operations: food storage, dishwashing station... but maybe the Pizza Corner took care of the restaurant for a while.
