Ras 74 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Worst minifig would be the Ewoks. Pretty much just a mold and maybe two colors.Assuming you mean the old once? But same there, as I said before. when they came, at that time, they where great. Compared to the new once, they look horrible. Quote
Lord_Bloodwort Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I'd have to say Grievous (even though i have two of him), and Ventress...She's supposed to be lean, sleek and almost spidery...granted Lego isn't meant to be accurate, but she almost looks like a South Park version of herself. I wasn't too crazy about the Rogue Shadow (Vader's Apprentice's ship from Force Unleashed) I'm sure it has potential, but like the Twilight, the design is just...WTF?! I'd include Jango Fett in here, but for the sole reason he's so ridiculously rare. And I dunno about anyone else, but my TIE Fighter pilot helmet looks like it was stamped just before the mold wore out...or it was taken out and smoothed before it cooled properly. A Shadow Trooper helmet has more definition to it! The Mars Mission Aliens are pretty high on the hate list as well (i'm not sure if this is SW specific figures that are hated, but the Mars boogers really stink) Quote
Stealth Hunter Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I'd have to nomiate 7258 Wookie Attack for the worst set. The wookie figures are fine, but the tank droid colour scheme is horrible, especially those trans-orange disks on the side. The dwarf spider droid in that set is too blocky, I prefer the one from the 7670 set. The worst figure is definitly CW Anakin in my opinion. That face just creeps me out, I got used to the other CW faces but not his face. I'm glad I only own one. Quote
pedro Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 No need to go further than the bucket By all accounts I'm glad I missed that ship I'd have to nomiate 7258 Wookie Attack for the worst set.The wookie figures are fine, but the tank droid colour scheme is horrible, especially those trans-orange disks on the side. The dwarf spider droid in that set is too blocky, I prefer the one from the 7670 set. I didn't get this set for those very reasons. I've no idea what convinced the designers to use such bizarre colours for the tank droid! The new versions are much, much better (I had an old pre-TLC dwarf spider droid MOC that I preferred too). Lord_Bloodwort Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) I'd just like to add i don't understand the use of Tan pieces they included for the older TIE Fighters...why not just gray like the rest of it? Or Blue for that matter? Edited September 12, 2009 by Lord_Bloodwort Quote
Forresto Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 My most hated set would be between Mustafar Duel and that new Tantive V. I dislike the Tantive V because the original was perfect and the new one does'nt come with any really special pieces or mii figures, yet everyone seems to like it so much. I just personally don't find it that special. Quote
Rufus Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I think I just might get flamed for this but... Considering only the sets I own, I have to say one of my least favorites is 7153 Jango's Slave I. Yeah, it comes with Jango, and lots of nice dark blue curved pieces (I hadn't seen dark blue before this), but the ship itself was a disappointment. It's kinda clunky, full of holes, has no 'door', and the swivelly cockpit really annoyed me. It deterred me from buying the 2006 Slave I, much to my later regret. A sturdier version with fewer play features would be a big improvement. I bought it in 2002 on impulse, and when I revived it to go with the later prequel sets I still didn't like it. My other nominees are: 7657 AT-ST (It's big, it's grey, it's not much fun to play) and the 7674 Torrent - I built it, I moved the wings up, then down, I tried to put it on the shelf but it didn't sit right, I took it apart. AndyC Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 (edited) 7674 Torrent - I built it, I moved the wings up, then down, I tried to put it on the shelf but it didn't sit right, I took it apart. Ooh, couldn't agree on that. The V19 torrent model is exceptionally well designed, looks very accurate and I think it's one of my favourite models overall. I think I'd have to cast my vote with the original Sith Infiltrator. Even in the context of the design of models when it came out, it's way off what it should look like. It has the appearance of somebody just knocking something up that was vaguely the right shape and saying job done. The one saving grace of that set was the Darth Maul minifig. As to worst minifig, having not had the, er, pleasure of seeing those podracer figures or the much disliked LUL figures, I think I'd have to say the Asajj Ventress figure. At a time when we've all become used to a certain visual quality from Lego, we get possibily the most ugly minifig ever, made worse with that horrible skirt thing. Ick. Ratshot Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 The worst set in my opinion is the Heyina Droid Bomber. The set was well designed but it just seemed to turn me down. The worst minifigs are those two guys from the Pod Race set, Seluba and the spider guy. Quote
pedro Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 The worst minifigs are those two guys from the Pod Race set, Seluba and the spider guy. From all accounts the pod-racing minifigs are disliked by the majority of LEGO fans! Saying that, gasgano's head works very well for a Kaminoan in my opinion - some small conselation there Quote
F.Mulder Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi all What would be your worst mini fig that lego has produced for star wars? Mine would have to Luminara Unduli, I just hate the plastic head piece and poorly designed faced!!!! Quote
ADHO15 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi allWhat would be your worst mini fig that lego has produced for star wars? Mine would have to Luminara Unduli, I just hate the plastic head piece and poorly designed faced!!!! I thought Luminara's headpiece and face were great and very accurate. It was her right arm that was the problem. As for this topic, I think you just need to post in this thread, rather than make a new and identical one. Be sure to do a thorough search before starting a new topic, especially when you're a new member who hasn't seen the range of topics there already are. Quote
Ras 74 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 As ADHO says, no need for this thread. I will close it down. Quote

Enigma-85 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Personally, I find the 7184 Trade Federation Multi-Troop Transport set to be... weird. I realise that the early Lego Star Wars sets were somewhat primitive compared to those found today, but this is really one of the least accurate recreations of all. It looks absolutely nothing like its on-screen muse! And what's with all the grey? Quote
pedro Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 What would be your worst mini fig that lego has produced for star wars?Mine would have to Luminara Unduli, I just hate the plastic head piece and poorly designed faced!!!! Actually I quite like Luminara's LEGO counterpart. True her face could be a little more accurate, but it's not all that bad. And I really like her head-piece! My main problem is the LUL-factor... those figures never did it for me and hamper customisability. I'd love to see her rereleased sans LUL - maybe with a newer face too? Quote
prateek Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Most hated set is the Hyena Bomber. As for the worst fig, I think any of the one piece figs from EPI are really bad Quote
Dennimator Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) I dunno about the sets, but as for the figs (besides the 1-piece ones already mentioned), I think Jabba the Hutt really is useless. I had 2 of him and I sold them both. He´s really useless for pretty much anything than as a "decoration" to a set. Edited December 2, 2009 by Dennimator Quote
Swash Buckler Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 NOOOO! You- you just mocked my favorite duel set! well it is pretty bad i partially agree- but it have the wonderful Yoda in it - much better than the new cw-monster and good Dooku new one looks fat and he even have breasts?????? really it looks like that i am happy to have that set. my most hated sw set is the new Venator cruiser- Palpy is only reason to anyone to have that one- it is horribly pricey and have only 5 figs!!!!!!!!!!!? Senate commandos are ok but they have clone heads terrible canonical problem- it is specifically said they ARE NOT CLONES! model is poorly done it is of course far too small and have holes in the hull- inconvenient in space even with the energy shields up- for saving the energy it is practical not to have hols in the hull.... Shape is bad because it is tried to built in minifigscale (not even close) gray wings and wedges aren't very rare in sw sets- i have tons of them- and of course flickfiremissiles !!!!! - still like all legos not even that monster is fully bad- palpy and his Death starplans- pretty good commandos (they should have had open helmets and black head like the old 2002 clones- so they can be used as officers like Arguys as well but no closed helmets and clone heads- bad, bad lego. even if there would have been 4 extra clones with these 5 figs it would have been ok now it is worst of the all sw-sets i think- and i am now happy owner of the perhaps best sw-set ever the new Endor! that one is a masterpiece with many figs and nice parts- but i will open it as christmas as a present of a kind I dunno about the sets, but as for the figs (besides the 1-piece ones already mentioned), I think Jabba the Hutt really is useless. I had 2 of him and I sold them both. He´s really useless for pretty much anything than as a "decoration" to a set. I will never sell any of my two Jabba's Quote
Big Cam Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I completely forgot about jabba, he is totally useless in the playability factor but dfor display he's great becasue I feel is looks pretty good and is the appropriate size. Quote
Oky Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I completely forgot about jabba, he is totally useless in the playability factor Well, what do you expect? He is a big blob of lard with some tiny arms attached to it. He is pretty useless in the movies too, so I think TLG did a decent job on him. The only thing I don't like about him is the monotone-ness. I would actually like to have one of him, but I think I'll wait for TLG to release a printed one. Quote
brickme Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Worst minifig is jar jar binks. However for the set it took me a while to decide but I am going to go with darth maul bust cause that thing is CREEPY! Quote
Minxter Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Worst minifig for me is Aldar Beedo from the Bucket because he is so ugly! Set is hard but think Twiilight is awful. Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 General Grievous Chase is pretty bad and General Grievous is worst Minifig like previously stated by many in this thread. Quote
prateek Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I don't understand why a lot of people dislike Jabba. You can easily sell him on BL for $20 Quote
