Sidorak The Hunter Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I sign. They gave us special codes for the Castle Advent Calendar last year, why not again this year? - Sidorak Quote
M. Lupin Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) Hi, although I'm sure The Lego Group has good reasons to not sell this set the United States, but this topic has 14 pages full of adults who don't have access to this set. Actually I take that back, seeing as Lego is a very expensive hobby that requires a large budget to get into on this level. MOst of us could probably go to Bricklink right now and buy this set. (in pieces) I unfortunetly don't have that budget. So think of the poor boy who will not be able to get all of the pirates line's minifigures, let alone all the sets, due to being born into a mid-class American family. Not the starving child in Africa. For he does not need Lego Pirates minifiures to play with. He get's Sally Struthers. jk Anyway I SIGN THIS SURVEY!!! Edited September 22, 2009 by M. Lupin Quote

Tereglith Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 *zaps screen with magic powers* C'mon LEGO, you didn't learn from the Castle one last year? Signed, TEREGLITH Quote
Coolcrab Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Signed! Marketing techniques are typically clear. Companies typically release by supply and demand. If there is a large enough demand, a product is released. If not, then the converse happens. But, the Lego company in my opinion has made a very large mistake. Americans showed great interest last year in the Castle Advent Calendar! And this year, just seeing as to how many signers there to this petition shows that there is great interest in a Pirates Advent Calendar! So, considering the fact that there is such a large demand for this set, it should be released to North Americans Americans! Best regards, Coolcrab Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted December 4, 2009 Governor Posted December 4, 2009 Isn't it beneficial to have advent calendars before December 1st since they're intended to used between then and Christmas? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 4, 2009 Author Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 4, 2009 ive already signed, but a question to bonaparte. has this been delivered yet?! i dont see how we'll be getting them by christmas if this isnt delivered within a few days from now (dec. 3rd) Yes, this petition thread has been delivered already quite some time ago to the LEGO Community team. But I fear there was no way to still make the Pirate advent calenders available for the US market. I do hope you guys have luck on Bricklink/eBay or know someone who lives in Europe. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 4, 2009 Governor Posted December 4, 2009 Was there any reason stated as to why the calendar wasn't released in the US to begin with? Quote
