What people don't understand is that it's all very witty of ten-year-olds to call each other "retards" on the school ground, but when you're a grown man talking to another person (who is related to; good friends with a mentally retarded person) playing an annoying brat teenager, it's really inappropriate.

I'm not mentally retarded, and neither is Ethel (there are tons of bratty teenagers on any channel), but imagine if I had been.

That's not to say that I'm not having a lot of fun playing this game; I just think we should keep the mood friendly.

If it will help avoid these heated arguments, I'll gladly sacrifice the "bratty."

No need to get all elitist with me, now... It's only my second Mafia-game in this board, I can't know everything you "old veterans" have experienced in the distant past (i.e. last year).

I was just remarking on how fun it is that the Mafia Games have evolved in both techniques used and the players who play them! Trust me, it's fun to watch them change, every time something new is included it's a new challange. It's what keeps them fresh, and sometimes turning back to the old ways is a good way of keeping them fresh as well. I was just saying that it was fun to see who was new to it, and who wasn't
