iamded Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Interesting. Took me a while to realise it was from a first person perspective of the hostage. Great lighting effects. What torso is used for the guy on the left? ~Peace Quote
Rick Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Interesting. Took me a while to realise it was from a first person perspective of the hostage. Thanks for pointing that out But I agree: nice shot. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Interesting. Took me a while to realise it was from a first person perspective of the hostage. Great lighting effects. What torso is used for the guy on the left? ~Peace That is an Adventurers torso. The other guy has an older fireman torso. Both are in old gray shades. Quote
saberwing Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 That is different, but cool. I knew immediately that it was a first person perspective Maybe a nice story would make this creation even better. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Maybe a nice story would make this creation even better. I actually like that there's no story, it makes you free to create your own. Great lighting affects by the way. Quote
Commander Flash Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Its a good first person creation. It executes the "you're part of the situation" feel. I like how there's no story, just imagine what happens Quote
prateek Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) Cool. I like the lighting. The guy on the right could use some angry eyes instead. Edited September 14, 2009 by prateek Quote
JeffD984 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 At first I thought that poor GameBoy was being held hostage, but then I read that it's first person and it makes much more sense! Pretty unique, I like the lighting effect Quote
LuxorV Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 At first I thought that poor GameBoy was being held hostage, but then I read that it's first person and it makes much more sense! That was my first thought, too Very interesting rendition, KingUndertheMountain. I like the way you focused on the background figures (with the plain black background around them due to the perfect lighting) and put the foreground objects slightly out of focus. It really conveys very well the feeling of what are the hostage's sensations and perceptions! LuxorV Quote
Fumoffu Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Very very nice. Like the others I wasn't quite sure who the hostage was but once it clicked it made this even better. I really like the lighting and photography. Quote
BlueBard Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 So simple and well executed idea that it becomes wonderful! Great lighting effects Quote
Batbrick Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 LuxorV LuxorV! I haven't seen you in ages! Great creation KingUndertheMountain, I especially love that unique first-person feel you've created. The lighting is splendid and the figs are brilliantly done. My only gripe is the slightly out-of-focus parts. Batbrick Away! Quote
fenris Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 "now call your dad - we know he's rich - and ask for 1,000,000$..." great atmospere! Quote
Forresto Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) "I've got friends in high places, they'll pay you, just don't hur-hur-hurt me!" (screams like little girl) I just love everything about this MOC, especialy since there probably was'nt much construction involved yet you showed us a scene! LuxorV Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 LuxorV! I haven't seen you in ages! Don't want to go too off topic, but yes, I've been quite busy in the last few weeks guiding an excursion in the Dolomites with the students and then digging up some fossils in Sicily. But now I'm back, and I'm glad to see you all again, and to see such intriguing new techniques and persectives in MOCs LuxorV Quote
