I would expect most of the stores to release them on April 1st, when they're supposed to be. :classic:

Of course, there are always a few stores that mistakenly release them early, and then you have good luck!

Really? Well Legoshop also has them online. But the shipping.

I just visited both my local Target and Wal-Mart in the US and both are now stocking and selling Prince of Persia sets. Only had enough on me for the $10 set though : \ I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere or if it is news but I just thought people should now know they can check just more than Toys R Us for PoP : )

Have a nice day.

Please don't create separate threads just about set availability. Thanks!

If you're in the US, you can get the $10.99, $19.99 and $29.99 sets for those prices (minus a nickel) with free shipping by using a coupon through lego.com. Anything that costs $24.99 or less only costs $4.95 to ship from lego.com. There is a $5 off coupon that takes the price off the set cost, therefore knocking the prices down to $5.99, $14.99 and $24.99 (but then adding shipping back in). It's like free shipping and a nickel off.

Just put B058 in the catalog/promo code box. That's a zero, not an "O".

Awesome thanks its some 5 dollars off of 20 dollar order coupon. I will try it out.

Well I can get 2 desert attacks, or 1 The Fight for the Dagger. I guess I will get the desert attacks, so I get 2 katana holders, 4 assassins and 2 printed horses.

And they are ordered. Once amazon starts stocking I guess I will get more sets from them. I think I might get all of the Prince of Persia sets to start my first collection. Might as well, since I want nearly every set.

I hope that the prices for the rest of the world will be equally fair, but I doubt it. USD 80 for the Alamut Castle is really nice, and I am happy for you Americans that you can get such a lovely set for so few money. I am not a huge fan of the underground cave, it just looses against "Temple Escape" Or the "Temple of Doom", but especially the citylife, market-sets are just so nice as an oriental setup, not even to play some sort of story based on the movie but as a standalone. I hope that if the movie flops, people will see the potential of the sets. Cause I said once that SW is the better Space, and Indy is the better Adventurerers (sorry!), and PoP seems to be the better version of a possible (never occured) orient-based castle subtheme. It just seems that good. Colours, build, figures.

On the other hand I hate PoP for cutting off Indy, cause it was my favorite theme, but once I lay my hand on the PoP castle or market, I guess I will forget my worries.. :classic: It looks wonderful.

(They could have added a palm in some set though :classic: )

I hope that if the movie flops...

How's that even possible? The trailer was awesome, and the movie is probably twice as good.

I don't think there were any palm trees in Persia. At least not the likes LEGO has produced...

I called one Toy's R US and the sales rep said her contact said it should be showing up in the next quarter. Then I called another TRU and they said they have 4 sets. So I raced over there and picked up The Battle for the Dagger, and the Small set with the Assassins. Also Prince of Persia is included in the Buy One Get One half off sale that is going on there.

What about date palms? I'm pretty sure those exist in the Middle East... although I agree that date palms probably couldn't use the same style as typical LEGO palm trees.

Of course, Persia was a large empire, and not sure if there's any region in particular that the PoP games and film base their settings on. So perhaps there aren't any date palms.

Hey this may be a bit off topic but can someone find a picture of the front and back of Princess Tamina's hair?

I wanna see it before I buy the Fight for the Dagger set.

Whoa, I didn't realize the braid was that long! WIN! :cry_happy:

Nor did I. It looks cool, as does every other headpiece in Pop!

Hey....I was on Bricklink, and it looks like the Bar 1L with Clip has a hole in the side. How strange.

Oh, and they called the new color Medium Dark Flesh.

Flesh? Ugh... It's not even used for minifig parts :sceptic: Instead of making things even more confusing, they should have stuck with the official colour name.

Yeah, what a stupid decision.

No colour should have 2 modifiers - 'Medium' and 'Dark' together - what does that even mean? :sceptic:

It should be 'Medi-Dark'.

I am wondering if the magnet sets come with regular minifigures that you can take apart or do they come with special minifigures like on the keychains where all of the parts are glued together? :sceptic:

Well, the newer ones come with normal non-glued figs on top of magnetic bricks.
