Rick Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Interesting too that the old scimitar is being used again. The 'old' cutlasses were produced again for Pirates II as well, I like that about Lego... Quote
Henning M. Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Hmm new hair piece, as far as I can see also "golden" domes and cones. And hopefullu some new white bricks. Only a pity that the set probably is going to cost a fortune here in Denmark. Any indications on prices inthe UK. It will be interresting to see the rest of the lineup of sets in the theme. Best regards Henning M. Quote
Etzel Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I am totally going to buy these sets, I am hoping to get Ostrich Races and Hassasins' Hideout. Shame they have to be realeased right AFTER Christmas.... More like right before Easter It's gonna be a long winter... Quote
Ratshot Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) Those minifigs are really nice, especially the warriors on the ground. I can't wait much longer Thanks for sharing this. Edited December 12, 2009 by Ratshot Quote
Zzz Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I see how it is, LEGO.You'll bring back the Scimitar back, make camels, and even mould a new turban for Prince of Persia, but not for Indiana Jones. Disney must be giving you a little bit of a better deal than Lucasarts. Well, at least were getting them. I'll just be able to have more pieces for my Indiana Jones mocs. This could have been my post. 100% Agreement here! Quote
Swash Buckler Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Joe Meno of BrickJournal has posted some pictures of the ostrich and camel! Wow love them i want at least the camel Haha that ostrich is awesome, though I would have liked to have seen a saddle fit it as well. Slowly but surely LEGO is making more molded animals, maybe now they can finally make that Zoo subtheme! Yeah old duplo one i has as a kid- i want see that as a city subtheme too Quote
Wout Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Count me in. I want also a lego zoo. I heard from someone who's working in a zoo the ostriches with black and white feathers are male. If they made also some ostriches with brown feathers they would be female. But for the rest, the new animals are terriffic. Quote
MrCustomizer Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I love the animals! And the dude's head is the same as Indy's! That'll be great for animating! Exciting! I think I'll be buying a few of these sets.. ~MC Quote

Nightshroud99 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 A lego Zoo would be really cool. As for the new pictures it makes me really want to get those sets now. I can't wait till they come out! Quote
MrCustomizer Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) No it is different head but almost identical that is true... I meant new expression. I've always wanted a LEGO zoo with other animals. So now as far as Zoo animals go, we have: Monkeys Ostrichs Elephants Crocodiles Camels Horses Snakes Parrots Scorpions Spiders ~MC Edited December 13, 2009 by MrCustomizer Quote
The Who Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I meant new expression.Yes, that is a new expression on Indy's face. Quote
YG-49 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 The ostrich looks like it has a moveable head! Now we can bury it in sand! Anyone? Smokebelch? Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 It really looks like this theme will bring us many good things for sure. The figs, all the accessories and of course the new animals. Probably also good other parts that can be used to for Mocs. Quote
saberwing Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Is there already a pic of the dagger of time (minifig scale)? I am quite curious about what it looks like. Quote
Svelte Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Is there already a pic of the dagger of time (minifig scale)?I am quite curious about what it looks like. No, the only set pic we've seen is the one in the first post of this thread from the Russian event. LEGO has kept a close lid on the other sets so far! Quote

Forresto Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Just got mine today. All they've got is a 'coming soon' poster, although a section of a set can be seen (Battle of Alamut?). Looks like Dastan may have a double sided head too. Interesting too that the old scimitar is being used again. Are those new arch pieces? The orange pieces near the top I mean. Quote

There's also: Other birds (falcon?) Manta ray Sharks (and sawfish, although not really a zoo animal) Fishes Starfish Clam Crabs Dolphin Jellyfish (transparant chefs' hat) Octopus Ants (albeit giant mutant ants) Wolves (also used as dogs) Frogs Polar bear Rats Bats Owls Butterflies And if they count, the brickbuilt penguins from the batman line Edited December 13, 2009 by Fluyt Quote
Perterz Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 At first I had no intrest in Prince Of Persia at all but by looking at the few images available, I can tell it's gonna hurt my wallet. The colors, figs and especially the animals look superb! I'm leaving Atlantis and Toy Story for what they are and I'll be going for Prince Of Persia! April 2010?! Damn, that explains the few images available BUT I've more time to collect the needed money.. Quote

I really do believe we will get LEGO Zoo within 1-3 years. Quote
