Funny. Here we have a set with a big bad monster truck, a cool grappling arm feature, and new minifigs - and the wow-factor of the set is a pan with sausage.

One of the things I really like about Power Miners is the cheeky little bits of home comfort they've snuck down there with them, like the banana in the Titanium Command Rig and the coffee maker in the Rock Wrecker. And the drinks machine in the new base. Lovely attention to detail.

Any ideas on the release and price of the Superpack?

I'm going to go ahead an assume it's a European only release, like most/all.

I think they were all European only. =/

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pretty interesting to see an Action Theme get its own Superpack.

Last one I can think of is Life on Mars and Arctic.

Yesterday I has visited my local store and saw there all 2010 Power Miners sets, include 8190 and 8191.

Claw Clutcher is so nice and his grabing function is great! I think that it could contend with Thunder Driller. )

Lavatraz Prison is a cool set too, but Erruptorr looks a little strange. :hmpf:

Do you bought themForcemaster?

MantaMan, 8190 and 8191 also are absent on BrikLink. Perhaps, all 2010 PM sets are on sale in Russia only?)

No, I didn't, but I'm very like Claw Clutcher, and will probably buy it in near future. ) :classic:

If power miners were in "simple" underground(secondary color-orange),then they've been at the center of the earth(secondary color-blue),what will be next?Cool underground rivers and ice caves, power miners in arctic clothes?Secondary color-dark-red or purple?Ice-monsters?

Blue stays, Orange transform in trans orange, lime transform in white and Ice Miners 2012 are ready to start their job!

Guys, I bring bad news. If you look in the new catalog, there is no sign of the summer wave of PM, but there are in every other theme. I fear it might be lost, or is having a break.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's the end.

Agents had a two year run, and not many Action Themes live on too long.

We're getting Atlantis for a year run, possibly two [Although Aquaraiders II did only have a year to live], and World Racers implemented in the summer.

C'mon Arctic Theme...

I'm assuming it's the end too. I mean, they already captured the big bad lava monster that's causing all the earthquakes, and they're at the FREAKIN CENTER OF THE EARTH! Not much further you can dig there. And PM has got to make way for all the new themes including world racers.

Posted

Oh no: once they reach the center of the earth they are going to get shot into space through a volcano and they're going to mine on the moon. But seriously: I guess you're right Oky Wan.

Claw Catcher and Lavatraz are available on S@H, but not in the US... :hmpf_bad:

And vice versa - the smaller sets are not available outside the US.

There seems to be some database error as this is true of Atlantis and Space Police 3 as well (and City Fire sets) - what is available in the US isn't available anywhere else, and vice versa. I expect it will be fixed soon.

The markets are served by different distribution centres, so no.

Besides, it's the *exact* sets which have been available in the US on S@H which are the *exact* sets not available elsewhere, and vice versa - even though some of these sets have already appeared in stores in Europe (from reviews and Bricklink sellers)

If you zoom in on Eruptorr, you can see that the "new" flame pieces are actually one piece divided into three but still connected at the bottom. :sceptic:

eww :x

Eh, as long as they can be disconnected they're still somewhat good.

I'm a review now on the Lavatraz set(i'm want to buy claw catcher on this week, maybe). He has 3 rubber flame pieces, that will be great to make lava dragon, thought. The trans color of Europtorr is something between trans-orange(Firox,Firax,etc)and transe-"flame"(burning rocks,flames,etc).And...orange "claws" are...made of rubber, thought :sceptic:

That's actually fine by me, I thought it'd have been a pain in the neck to get them all in if they were individual parts.

The front of the 'mech looks great - but it has no knees! What does TLG have against knees!?

Is the sausage in the Claw Catcher new?
