Just got an e-mail from Jan Beyer requesting where we will be and a roughly date.

We have been almost every second year in Billund the last years.

There have also been discussed to arrange an Event in U.K. next fall.

So what do you say that wants to participate at next years EB Event?

Make your vote before 30 September!

I was in Gunzburg this year for the 2009 event, so I'd love to see Billund next time. My vote goes to Billund!

Holodoc you live in Germany, stop voting for it

Stop nagging me! :cry_sad:

Seriously I voted...

...BILLUND!

Didn´t we say so in Günzburg? :look:

And because of our Merlin annual passes I strongly recommend a date around may, 1st.

Then we can get into the park for free and spend the money in sets. :cry_happy:

Otherwise I would have voted for Windsor. The only park in Europe I haven´t been to yet.

I thought we agreed on Billund as many of us wil get in there for free due to having the Merlin premium pass? (this is of course if we go before 20th of May).

Doing it in Ascension weekend will fit nicely imho, Ascension Day is 13th of May next year. so that's in time for us to get in for free, and it gives us the nice 4-day-Event with only taking out one day of leave from work

Anyway, I of course voted Billund, haven't been there since 1988 and it's the closest for me too.

As I'm likely to go as well, I too voted Billund. Haven't been there in ages, not to mention its within driving distance and I and Quarryman can split the costs if we travel together. For the time being I also second Quarryman's suggestion of event-date.

Like Holodoc I vote for Billund, and a date so we can use the Merlin pass from we bought i Günzburg. Looking forward allready.

That is correct my friends... The Merlin Passes :D

So the begining of May!!

Sounds good. Will come back with some ideas soon about dates.

I changed the date for last day of voting. It seems we got a winner in this after all.

On thursday I will inform Jan Beyer that we will be in Billund (if nothing dramatic last minute will happend ;) ).

I will tell him a rough date as well, end April - beginning of May. This year 1st of May is a saturday. That is bad...

So I will be back with a new vote on what weekend this might take place.

But I think eighter 23-25 of April, or 30 of April to 2 of May. How does this sounds?

I still think 14th-16th of May is the best, but I'll make it anyway

I've been looking into the dates.

There is a Christian holiday on Thursday 13th of May. So in Belgium (and I assume other countries around also) we'll also have a holiday on that day and the next.

For this reason I suggest the event starts on Thursday 13th of May and goes until Sunday 16th of May.

It will save me some precious holidays, and I assume it will be the same for other Europeans.

Anyone that knows if our Seasonpasses is still valid to that weekend 13-16 of May?

If the Merlin permium pass which Quarryman mentions is the same as the seasonpass which you mention, then things should be OK.

If you guys bought those annual passes during last years event it should be OK (last year the event started 20th of May).

Of course, I suggest you double check as I'm making assumptions.

I will call Legoland later about that.

If the Merlin passes are still valid on ascension day and the days around (what I expect), I would prefer that later time for our event.

It's a lot easier to get a day off if there is a "bridge-day" (meaning the friday between ascension day and the weekend).

The weather is hopefully more sunny then too.

Exactly the reason why I proposed those dates, getting 4 days off while only spending one precious day of leave. (and for us Norwegians it will be a super-weekend as the Norwegian national day is the Monday after, so that's another day off )

Just checked mine, it says valid until 21st of May 2010. (or rather "gueltig bis", but Google Translate assures me that means "valid until")

One comment. We need to have a work-day there, so if possible we have a change to do something special in there park etc!

You lucky Belgians!

In Germany the friday is a complete "normal" working day (a lot of people take one holiday-day though, but officially it's a working day). I don't know if this is the case for Denmark too.

If yes, we have a solution for your problem, Morten!

Billund 2010, here we come!!

So can we settle the date 13-16 of May as well? I will take that as a preliminary date so far.

Will inform Jan Beyer today as well.

@ Quarry:I assume we can trust the translation there ;)

If not Holo (ze German specialist) has any grammar to correct
