Jonas O. Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 (edited) Here ist my Imperial Death Star Battlepack! That's my first building contest on eurobricks, so I think, I have no chance to win. I make this Battle Back, because my favourite movies are the old origianl movies. And I'm a great fan of the imperial forces. "The Rebell Forces going to attack the Death Star, now, it's time for the imperial Death Star gunners to defend the station. Build now an E-web blaster and a small commandostation with a secret weapon depot. Complete this Battle Pack with the Rebell Invaders Battle Pack for more action and fun!" Pieces: exactly 50 (with the weapons and no figures) Minifigs: 3 Death Star Troopers (Gunner) and 1 imperial Officer Vehicles: Death Star E-web blaster and a small commando central secred weapon-depot and the blaster the figures Edited September 28, 2009 by KimT Quote
Commander Assassin Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I love it! (Most of the reason being I don't have any DS troopers ) Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Not bad at all, Jonas O. I don't have enough of these Death Star troopers, and have no Imperial officers, so I'd certainly pick up one of these! Maybe one of the Death Star troopers would be better as a Death Star Gunner. It would give the set more variation and, as a exclusive fig, would surely dramatically boost sales. Great work. Quote
Forresto Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Darn I was going to do this and i had a custom imp gunner helmet to, oh well. Great job though and it would'nt work to well for me because I have no deathstar troopers . I would deffinently buy this. Quote
Fumoffu Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Great idea and BP. I'll definitely buy this. Can do with more DS Troopers. The console is great but I'm not so sure about the blaster. Maybe I just prefer sleeker looking blasters to what you got. Good work. Quote
pedro Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Nice battle pack Jonas! And a great way to stock up on some more of those great Death Star Troopers. I like your models too; the command station is a cool little idea and I guess another E-Web couldn't hurt (though I personally avoid using transparent pieces for blaster/weapon ends - call it my serious side ). I think with the so many parts unused (50/70) you should consider making some kind of maintenance vehicle or speeder to enhance the set? You could do a lot with 20 parts! Maybe one of the Death Star troopers would be better as a Death Star Gunner... That'd be very cool. DS Troopers are finding themselves in a jack-of-all-trades position at the moment Quote
Jonas O. Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) Thx for the friendly comments. (though I personally avoid using transparent pieces for blaster/weapon ends - call it my serious side ). I have this peaces in grey, too. But this E-web is a special Death-Star E-web as the huge Death-Star super laser. I think with the so many parts unused (50/70) you should consider making some kind of maintenance vehicle or speeder to enhance the set? You could do a lot with 20 parts! Yes, you are right, bur I have never seen speeders on the Death_Star in the movies. Edited September 22, 2009 by Jonas O. Quote
RileyC Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I really like this entry. The minifigures look great and go great together. The console looks great and I love how you put the blue on it which reminds me of the old TIEs. the turret looks cool and looks like a vamped up version of the e-web turret great entry and good luck Quote
prateek Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I really like this! It's good for building up your Imperial Army with non-stormtroopers Quote
KimT Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Rules Of Entry: 4 Minifigs - brickbuilt minifigs counts a minifig (no more, no less). 50-70 Parts (minifigs not included). Custom minifigs and accessories allowed (Brickforge, Brickarms and so forth). No clone brand parts (megablocks, blocko and so forth). No baseplates (or large parts like BURP). S@H-like Description (check the descriptions on shop.lego.com for inspiration). Own motivation for creating set (why these figs and accessories?). Max 5 pictures from different angles - One of which should be a box diplay/image. Please include a link to off-site folder with more pics or higher resolution pictures (optional). Max picture resolution is 800x600. No large parts - it's a Battle Pack and should resemble existing BP's in size and contents. Only one entry per member. 'Real' entries only - no digital entries. Entry has to be a new MOC. A DeathStar Battle Pack would be great. I'd love an army of those black fellas. Best of luck. Quote
