74louloute Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 ENTERED Hello everybody, here is my entry for TTCE. For those who lived in Paris, this train is famous. The RER A is the suburban train that most of the Parisian take every morning to go to work. This is my humble tribute to this packed out train, and by the way my first train MOC. Wagon RER A MS61 A little reference picture : More pictures one Flickr and Brickshelf C&C are more than welcome ! Quote
Rick Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Nice color scheme and you employed great techniques to do the striping. Quote
prateek Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Amazing! Those doors are purely awesome! Quote
aawsum Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 very very nice As said before the technique for the striping on the doors is very good. I guess they can't be opened any more, but who cares Quote
pe668 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Nice work, the colour scheme is fantastic. There's much to like about this MOC. Just 2 small points caught my eye. The windows in the doors were signaificantly smaller and the real life had more black (light surrounds and underbelly). Neither matters all that much when the end result is this good. Just be careful, as the rules stated one photo, it would be a real shame if it wasn't judge because of a technicality. Quote
missouri_bb63 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Fantastic! I have a friend who lives in Paris and he regularly talks about his trips to work on that train. Now I know what it looks like. You did a great job especially considering it is your first train MOC! Quote
Ezechielle Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 As I said on LP: very nice! (I didn't notice the little graffiti!) Quote
