Sir Gecko Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for sharing these Forcemaster! They look neat, although I must admit Kranxx look rather strange in green. Quote
GIR 3691 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 We're going to be seeing a lot of ODST customs with that helmet. It is a great looking new piece, and I hope it's readily available. Quote
YG-49 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) Is that a Power Miner head? EDIT: You got the SPIII and Power Miner heads mixed up! SPIII should have the Castle screaming head, while Power Miners should have the above head! The hellmet's great, that's going on my HALO figs. Also the Kranxx obviously isn't final because he has a Blacktron torso and his belt buckle isn't continued on it. Edited September 23, 2009 by YG-49 Quote
ForceMaster Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 YG-49, yes, it's a Dock two-faced head) Maybe lime Krannx really have a Blacktron torso?) Quote
phillip10 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 the helmets is awesome and i love the new kranxx. I hope this set is 10 dollars! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Those are some sweet new helmets. Quote
The Green Brick Giant Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Awesome, love the lime green guy. The police guy looks like a HALO guy, which I'm sure is the point of the new helmets. I like it a lot, looks great for a $13ish set (A Guess). Quote
Hound Knight Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 YES! Blacktron! Thanks for posting these! Quote
PrincessAriana Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for posting these pictures. Are the instructions up because I want to try to build that fighter in blacktron colors :). Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The Space Police probably have to have a final battle against the forces of Blacktron, huh? Classic, absolutely classic. This is going to go down in LEGO history as the sets that kicked evil's butt! Quote
CP5670 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I love all the old space references in this theme. That's one aspect of it they have really done perfectly. It's also good to see the new helmets and especially the trans-red visors. That is currently the hardest color to get them in, as they have only appeared in the SP1 sets in 1989. Quote
cole Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I'm almost certain these are fake. The sets don't look good at all, it shows the lime Kranx (easily spray painted) next to a SP vehicle, not his own and I'm sure I've seen that helmet somewere before. Also, when have the first pictures seen this size or quality? Quote
ForceMaster Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 cole, it's really 2010 sets, but probably preliminary) Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 That blacktron suit looks rather intresting I can't wait to see more pictures, the new helmet is also nice. I'm not so sure about the fighter but we'll see what happens. Quote

Optimus Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Those new helmets look great for Battlestar Galactica minifigures, as well as other space themes. The set itself doesn't look very good, but it will probably be only $10. Quote
prateek Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks! That new helmet looks cool by itself, but on the fig, it looks oversized Quote
Gus 263 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Great news! I really liked the lime Kranxx. His torso have a Blacktron symbol! Now it is becoming more and more like Lego Space! I also liked the new helmet. Will it be included in Power Miners 2010? Quote
Darth_Legois Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I really like the new little SP Ship The new helmet looks great to. Reminds me of ODST helmet & the ones in Battlestar Galactica. Quote
Oky Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Taking a closer look at that torso, it seems to have the general design of a Blacktron 1 torso, but with a Blacktron 2 symbol on it, so it's basically combining the the two old Blacktrons into a new one: Blacktron 3! Hopefully I'm right and Blacktron 3 will be the new enemy of SP3. It would make sense and it would be better than just a random bunch of crooks. Quote
Algernon Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 That blacktron suit looks rather intresting I can't wait to see more pictures, the new helmet is also nice. I'm not so sure about the fighter but we'll see what happens. My thoughts exactly. Quote
phillip10 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 its kindof dissapointing that there arnt new space police outfits. but it is still great! Quote
Batbrick Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Thanks again again again for the pics Forcemaster, the new Blacktron torso is brilliant! Lime Kraxx i really neat, I'll be sure to pick him up. The set itself isn't overly interesting but has some swell parts, and the new Space Police helmet is wonderful! Batbick Away! Quote
Draykov Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 (edited) Maybe lime Krannx really have a Blacktron torso?) I think YG-49 was implying that the legs assembly with the skull buckle that we've seen in existing SPIII sets is a stand-in for different, yet-to-be-finished, legs. The Blacktron homage torso is likely the final or close to final version. The police guy looks like a HALO guy, which I'm sure is the point of the new helmets. Highly unlikely if you ask me. I think it's just that a new Halo game happened to be released right around the time this helmet was revealed on the Interewebz and since it looks 1% more like a Halo helmet than the old, standard enclosed minifig helmet, people are quick to make that comparison. I'm almost certain these are fake. My understanding is that this set (along with others) was on display by The LEGO Group at Festival Rossiyskogo Fan Forum Lego. If this is faked, there's also a whole mess o' Atlantis, City, Toy Story and other sets that were also faked and displayed at the same event. Edited September 24, 2009 by Draykov Quote
