Legoliner Pilot Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The other day I decided I really wanted to build a re-color of the blue car from the 10184 Town Plan. I had to substitute some parts, but in the end it turned out good. Enjoy! Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Give people time, they'll comment. Eventually, anyway. This is cool! Now you have two old cars to have drive around Town Plan. How cute! I think it looks nice in yellow, too. Good color choice. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 This is an awesome MOD, Legoliner Pilot! I really it! Although I do normally not like civilian cars in yellow color (imo yellow color should only be used for post cars and taxis) I must admit that this one does really look fine! Very well done! Btw: What about a white and black version?! Klaus-Dieter Quote

I was going to add doors, but I found out that I couldn't add them because If I did I would have to take away the 1x6 tiles on the side. Quote
Zorro Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Looks very nice, perhaps you should build it in red and white as well? Quote
BlueBard Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Simple idea, but really nice result Quote

Btw: What about a white and black version?! Klaus-Dieter Hmm... About a black and white one... The problem is that I dodn't have enough tiles [or plates] to make the body white, but I do have enough black tile and plates to make the body black. Another problem with that is that the only colors I have the chassis (the big part on the bottom of the car in which the body is built upon) is white, black, and red. White is in use on the yellow car, while black is on the blue car. I'll look into it, though! Edited September 23, 2009 by Legoliner Pilot Quote
Rick Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Looks very nice, perhaps you should build it in red and white as well? That was my first thought as well, but I think light-pink and white would look even better. Quote
prateek Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Great colour choice! It looks really good in yellow Quote

Captain Genaro Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I like the way you did it. Keeping to the classic town feel. Quote
Milan Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Looking good. Yellow is the better color, I think! Quote
simonwillems Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I recently bought the set and although I like the car it might look better with 1x8 tiles on the side, covering the backwheels, instead of the regular 1x6. Cars like this from the fifities often had half-hidden rear wheels. But I like your colour variations! Quote
