I've had this model around my gallery for a long time and viewing it with a friend we decided to post this LDD model he did some months ago. It's just a little house with a garden inspired in old Versailles, and I think it looks really nice, doesn't it? What do you think?

I've put it here, in the History forum but if admins think it could fit better in Pirates' one please feel free to remove it.

Very nice building, I'd love to see this in real! If I would make a house for my sigfig, I think this would be a very good one:classic: The little bit's of red bricks are also a very great touch. It really has the feeling of that time period over it. great job!

Thanks for your nice comments from my friend

A good looking build, though the courtyard feels too empty. I think a fountain, and pathway or two and perhaps some benches would look good there.

Mmh.., I agree but remember it's supposed to be a little pavilion for pleasure or hunting, just as Versailles started so I supposed he didn't want to fill the courtyard so much  Anyway I think a green floor instead of grey would be better

I agree and it looks a bit micro scale...

It's only a small building, but I think a minifig can stand in there easily. The trees make it look smaller then it acutally is.

In real it will be quite a large MOC, but a larger building would be nice.

I agree 100%. It looks great but it's to empty :sceptic: Consider adding more details.

It also looks historically accurate though

It looks good but with those LDD prices it's probably like $500

We've never checked it but yes, it could be very very expensive... :sceptic:

I understand what you mean but remember it's supposed to be a little pavilion for pleasure, specially for hunting. It's not at all for living in but just for spending a night or two between shooting parties. A fountain or some benches could look great but for being historically accurated (and I can say my friend should be as proffessional historian) they would be useless... If you want try to imagine it not in a city or even in a field but more between some wooded hills or near to a forest
