Posted September 28, 200915 yr Year 2109, Vanguard City, TeleTransport Station West Personal locomotion vehicles have been forbidden, only law enforcement and rescue services have their means of transportation, all the contributors are forced to use collective public transports. The passengers wait for the TT (TeleTransport), it’s called that way, not because it dematerialises passengers and materialises them in their destination, that achievement science hasn’t been able to produce yet, it’s name is simply because every passenger seat has is own TV. But you shouldn’t assume that this is an old fashioned transport. TT is the fastest and more comfortable terrestrial mean of transportation. Unfortunately, due to the number of passengers it is frequently overloaded and delayed. An intelligent solution, adopted by the Government and very applauded by the Bigcorporation, was to officially declare Time’s relativeness (you should read contributors work schedule). This means that the contributors must work the usual 60 hours a week, independent of their work schedule or week day because they are flexible (both schedule and week days). This measure made a huge improvement in Vanguard City system of transportation. But let’s get back to the place we are. A police force element patrols the spot in his SegWay, passengers wait for the TT to arrive. The wait is long but the place has all the commodities, acclimatisation, public TV and computer, UV ray filtering, and the ZGB (Zero Gravity Bar) witch the passengers hold, help’s so the wait is quite comfortable. All this of course as long as the contributors have Credits in their Personalchip. An old contributor falls and hits the ground loudly, he must have forgotten to grab the bar, or his Credits are running low… no one notices… this happens frequently. Outside TTSW, the grey landscape of Vanguard City unfolds. The usual monotony… self sustainable buildings, communication antennas of all shapes and functions… in the back, on the mountains, the wind turbines spin slowly producing the mild breeze that makes the exterior environment bearable and pushes the polluted air away… where to… no one knows, no one cares… day life in Vanguard City doesn’t leave much time to think about details. My Personalchip vibrates under my skin, a message from the Bigcorporation… my Sunday is over, I must report to service at once. (sorry for any grammar errors) See more photos in my brickshelf folder I build this for 0937 Lusolympics a MOC competition, theme was Avant Garde urban furniture... Thank you for looking
September 29, 200915 yr I love it! The signs are great and flashy, like ones you would see in Tokyo streets. Nice part usage with P-Squiddy's head!
September 29, 200915 yr This is an excellent moc you have created rupi and the backstory is very good.
September 30, 200915 yr Neat. Love the use of forced perspective for the cityscape in the background.
October 3, 200915 yr Hello! A great and detail-rich little scenery! It's a pleasure to look at, and you added a great story around it. The blurriness of the background skyline works excellent here. Great photography here! My most fevaourite detail is the use of the Bionicle weapon. Not a big fan of Bionicle myself, I also always try to find alternate building possibilities for such pieces. Well done! Cheers, ~ Chris
