AFOLs are also welcome to contact the SG in order to apply for membership. The membership Membership lasts as long as you fulfil the criteria for being a EuroLUG member. If a member – for certain reasons (e.g. work, family, illness) – can not fulfil the membership criteria, the SG can give a waiver for one year at the time. End of membership takes place by notifying the SG. For new members it is mandatory to buy the welcome package (€ 50,- in 2009). There is no annual fee for the membership. Communication Communication and discussions will take place during meetings at events around Europe, by email or in an enclosed forum. A website is under development. At EuroLUG events, the local LEGO employees and Country Managers can be invited to participate at the discussions. KimT Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Wow. 3 events per year. Who has the time for that? I've got a wife and a kid plus a real life job, I don't have time for that much. Best of luck to the EuroLUG. Quote
Ras 74 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 It sure seems hard to manage that. How big must an event be to count I will pass this fine offer, but also wich best of luck to EuroLUG!! Quote
Hoexbroe Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 How is this project coming along? I found this post, while serching for Lluis Gibert, whose presence I miss very much in HispaLUG, but going to www.eurolug.eu just yields an event-calender and very little else. Anybody has the heads up on this project? (of course, with 3 events a year I could never apply for this LUG, but I´m just interessted in information... :-) Quote
