I second that, looks much much better than the Volvo from TLC

By the way, does this awesome thing use a lot of parts from the original Volvo?

Would it be worth the money buying it for parts?

Does is use (mini)LA's for steering?

LA's would be cooler and more realistic than is servomotor.

And can you post some pics of that beautiful machine???

Wow that Volvo is beautiful Mlonger!

I will make it work with the new bucket on the Liebherr! ;)

Love to see that two.

But I still think it is to big, Efferman should try to make a bucket that fits in between.

I am not sure how many parts are common, but having 42030 would help a lot, because my L250G uses three LA's, Unimog tires, two IR receivers, two L motors (drive/rasing the bucket) and two M motors (tilting the bucket/steering). The chasis is similiar to 42030, only tighter. And it uses two small turntables instead of one.

Yes, it does use two mini LA's for steering and it works smoothly. There are no PF lights, due to lack of free space inside the hull. I have used almost every space avaialble for routing the cables from motors and receivers, and I don't have idea where to put cables from lights. So it will be used only in day ;)

Also, unlike L580, Volvo lacks of opening door in cabin.

I don't have pics of completed loader, but I can show you some WIP photos:

Good luck :)

No, it is not. It fits perfect dimensions from Liebherr blueprints.

Det ser ut jättebra!

But in my opinion the first variant of wheels (with small yellow rims inside the main rims) looks more realistic and appropriate cause the grey unimog ones may look a little badass (which is not necessary on construction vehicles).

Here's one solution that works pretty good (not perfect) but ok!

Does the tilting work properly?

Hello Marek,

You've build that awesome Volvo L 250 G.

It's great, but is there also a chance you are going to build that Caterpillar loader 966K you've shown on the picture in this thread, would be fantastic to build and have three different brands of loaders on my shelf if I get to build them all!!!

Would love to see what you can produce whith an example off that.

You've nailed it already whith the Liebherr and Volvo, but also a CAT would be super!!!!

Well, L580 was built five years ago, Volvo few days back, so I think that CAT will be built in 2019 ;)

I am not thinking about building another wheel loader, but I am gathering parts for this:

Looks nice, what scale?

I asume it will be smaller than the 8295?

That one is to big and is not very playable.

With PF and IR control?

Fine with me, but still want to see that CAT loader in 2019

not a big fan of Military vehicles.......... but this one got something........ still new Lego Technic parts (Liftarms, Panels etc.) look kinda ugly.

OK... now tell me - how is that 8x8 related to this topic?

If you are going to build something like 8295, take a look at these machines, Manitou MRT, that would be cool:

I had started to make one and will hope to continue making one of those in the future,it will be much more complex than M_loger's.
