1) Three of the non-voters are identical, 2 days in a row - Sir Dillon, Escape the Fate, Ricecracker. This doesn't look good, as all have had a chance to vote in the last 2 days. Their indecision imperils us all, considering the Sudden Death fate that awaits us. I suspect at least one of these to be Dragons since they are dragging their feet and holding up proceedings, without any particularly good reason except 'Oh noes! I don't know what to do! Hence, no vote!'

I consider these three at best dead weight, so if there are any investigators or protectors out there, don't bother looking after these 3. They are adding nothing to our daily council and are holding us up.

2) If you look at yesterday's vote, it was clear that Beatrice was on the way out. Since I believe Simon to be a Dragon, it looks to me as if the Dragons got together amongst themselves and agreed to sacrifice one of their number to throw suspicion off the rest of them. Looking at the suspect votes after ISC, we have Quarryman, professor flitwick and Stash2Sixx. If you look at today's vote, Quarryman and Stash2Sixx are again non-voters! Clearly they don't want to vote against one of their own again, ie ISC, and lose another Dragon. Stash2Sixx did the exact same thing yesterday, casting an early distracting vote for someone else and then changing it to Beatrice only late in the game. Today he has cast another useless vote which he knows won't get anywhere.

Thus, I conclude that ISC, Stash2Sixx and Quarryman are all Dragons. When it became clear Lady Harcourt was for the chop, they got together and voted her off late in the day. Today, with Librarian Simon under suspicion, they have repeated their tactic of casting useless votes (Stash) or refraining. I think we should convict Simon today, and go after the 2 next most dangerous Dragons after that!

Loyal citizens, I implore you to take what I say seriously! After revealing my theory, I probably won't live long enough to see it to fruition :tongue:Bob the Construction Man and Darth Legois, if you are truly loyal, I ask you to change your vote to Simon today so we can at least get rid of him tonight. If I am right, he will be proved to be a Dragon. If I am wrong, then I am happy to be judged by my peers. Thanks for your attention!

You are so very right, Francis. Since Vipont was a loyal Ambassador, I think there's a good chance the other ambassador os a Dragon, or at least Vipont thought so before he died. I also fully agree with you on Peter, and that we should try to vote them off tomorrow. That is, if we survive the night.

To hell with it. I fear that after I say this, the Dragons will be all over me, but I think it's worth it. I am an investigator. Let's start a few days back. I investigated Vipont. I found him to be a Dragon. That is why I went after him so viciously. I was incorrect in my findings. Yesterday, I was trying to figure out what had happened. I came to the conclusion that I am an insane investigator. Last night, I investigated Simon, and my findings showed him to be guilty, meaning he is innocent. Simon is innocent. I'm telling you, voting Simon is a dire mistake. I just pray the Dragons don't go after me tonight. You must trust me.

There are two posibilites here:

1. You are correct in saying your insane, which makes me wonder how you got a job as a guard

Or

2. It is the worst cover story ever told

Either way, I doubt the Dragons will let you live! Though you may get another day, as it is unlikly the Dragons will let Francis live much longer...

Speaking of Francis, excellent dedective work there! Though I'm confused:

Looking at the suspect votes after ISC, we have Quarryman, professor flitwick and Stash2Sixx.
Am I a suspect in your eyes? The way you didn't mention me again made me think I'm not, but I'd just like to check.

That's odd, I've also been in touch with an investigator who got the same exact result as you did when he or she investigated Vipont. So this is why I have been reluctant to vote for anyone at all, since evidence seems to be misleading. Heres another question to be asked, why would we have two investigators?

Heres another question to be asked, why would we have two investigators?

We probable don't. :hmpf:

It makes me think that you and Richard are trying to cover your own behinds by inventing all of this nonsense.

Also how Richard blames his voting for the ambassador on his sanity  , Then you a fellow dragon support his crazy theory by saying you were "contacted by a investigator who said the same thing"

I doubt its a coincidence. There is not 2 investigators :hmpf: If there is that means 1 is paranoid and 1 is a dragon. But you two being scum and covering each other makes a hell of alot more sense!

It not blaming my vote on the sanity. The role is called insane investigator, it doesn't actually change my sanity. Well, except while I'm investigating.

I believe Ricecracker is at least partially telling the truth. If he was a Dragon and lying, we would be able to call him out tomorrow, so I trust he is telling the truth about Simon.

I'm not going to argue about me being a dead weight. It's true, I was useless yesterday and really have no excuse other than my own indecision. I hope to be better today.

You make some good points here. As I said earlier, I believe Quarryman is innocent, and also believe Ricecracker about ISC, but agree with you about Stash2Sixx. I don't have anything to go on other than a gut suspicion, but that will have to be enough for now.

Vote: Stash2Sixx/Lord Edward Griffin

Unvote: Ambassador Simnel

Vote: Simon

I sprouted another eye, and that one is on you Simnel. Although I would like to know who this "Bob" fellow is, and what he is building.

After further thinking I have decided to vote for Vote: Simon/I Scream Clone.

It not blaming my vote on the sanity. The role is called insane investigator, it doesn't actually change my sanity. Well, except while I'm investigating.

I know what it is. :hmpf_bad: But yes you are blaming your sanity while investigating i mean :hmpf:

Also surely you have investigated other people besides Simon and the ambassador?

Sorry I've been so quiet everyone.

Jut thinking it over.

I see we're finally on the right track here, we're using teamwork for once! :sweet:

Maybe we'll get lucky and Simon will be a scummy dumpster full of lizard droppings!

I know what it is. :hmpf_bad: But yes you are blaming your sanity while investigating i mean :hmpf:

Also surely you have investigated other people besides Simon and the ambassador?

Yes, but those people haven't come up as suspicious yet.

So despite new theories arising I am still to be condemned when it looks like others are more corrupt than I, due to "gut reasoning"

So long pardners. See you in Hell! from heaven

So despite new theories arising I am still to be condemned when it looks like others are more corrupt than I, due to "gut reasoning"

Actually, Mallory's 'gut feeling' was in your favour - he didn't vote for you

Still, it looks as if consensus has been reached :sadnew: I pray for your soul.

Indeed, my own safety is probably of concern as well. I do hope the Dragons are not so predictable as to target me tonight. It would simply confirm 100% everything I have said today. At least while I live, there is doubt. However, if I die tonight, then I ask my loyal citizens to take note of what I have said and to pursue that course of action vigorously.

Praise be!

Chef Walter (JimButcher) - 1 Vote (Stash2Sixx)

Lord Edward Griffin (Stash2Six) - 1 Vote (Sir Dillon)

A majority vote of 8 votes is required to convict, therefore I Scream Clone has been convicted.

After much discussion, another conviction had been reached inside the castle of Matidoer. Simon, the long serving castle librarian, was to be executed that night on charges of being a conspiring Dragon, plotting to overthrow the ruling monarch. Throwing up his hands in despair, Simon looked around at the mob of people that had sentenced him to death.

"People, I am innocent, please, you must believe me", Simon pleaded. "I have served this castle faithfully for many years, you can't just put that aside now!"

The guards came out and grabbed Simon by the arms, ready to march him away.

"It is alright, I will go to my fate without making a fuss", Simon sighed. "No point in making a scene, I guess."

Resigned to his fate, Simon was lead from the room. The remaining residents of the castl stayed a while before retiring to their rooms for the night...

Day 5 has now ended. Tonight will not be a sudden death night. Please send in your night actions, if you have one, as soon as possible. If you do not wish to use it, please let me know anyway. The night will possibly last 3 days. The sooner you get your actions in, the sooner I can prepare Day 6. Thanks.
