Oh wow, that looks absolutely fantastic! Funny how the box says "for table decoration only"... I hope it doesn't mean the pieces are glued together. :sceptic:

Upon closer look, that printed bride's dress is actually just 1 brick tall, 2 studs wide and 3 studs deep. But that dress and the unique blonde hairpiece included makes me need that set badly.

I find it funnier that it says "Ages: 6+" on a wedding cake decoration

Based on the pictures in the blog the dress looks kinda stupid from behind with the cheese slopes and whatnot, and I'm not a fan of so markedly narrowed hips either. But still the figure is good enough that I'm certainly hoping it won't be too expensive on Bricklink.

And now there will be a proper bride (rather than the one from the cake topper) in series 7.

But oh dear.... King Triton or Neptune? How will he figure into the merperson scheme? The first male on the Lego Princesses list?

It looks like the Series 7 of Collectable Minifigs will add three figures to this special collection of mine: the Bride, the Valkyrie and the Poseidon.

Also, Star Wars has the first male figure to don an actual printed dress. It's a new version of Nute Gunray, and he comes in this set:

Sandy,

Thanks for tracking these for everyone. I've used your thread as a resource to build my royal families. Don't forget to add the green princess from the upcoming 10223 Kingdoms Joust.

I agree, this is a great resource for showing the collection of dresses released. I have just counted and I have 14 unique dresses (and a number of doubles).

I am looking to get some more, so I will check in here to see what remains (although I probably won't get then all as some are quite dear). I am also looking forward to the series 6 and 7 ones coming out.

Does the frontfig of the Black Pearl count as well? I noticed there's a gray statue like minifig included ...

Good eye! However I checked BrickLink and photos on Brickset and it appears to be completely black without printing so it would not qualify to be one of them.

No, I've decided not to include female figs in plain sloped dresses into this collection.

For Sandy, your posts have been really useful, as some of the dress designs (both the lower halves and the matching tops) are not yet found in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) (sometimes, you can only find half of the designs!), so I can use your posts to help encourage these designs to be featured in the programme!

After a bit of research today, below is a list of new LEGO minifigures with dress parts from the Collectable LEGO Minifigure Series starting from Series 8 (up to Series 13, latest today).

Series 8: Alien Villainess (in fact, her dress is a colour variation of Narcissa Malfoy's dress).

Series 9: Forest Maiden, Fortune Teller, Hollywood Starlet, Mermaid.

Series 10: Medusa (a mythical Gorgon according to the descriptions).

THE LEGO® MOVIE™ Series: Calamity Drone, Marsha Queen of the Mermaids, Wild West Wyldstyle.

Series 12: Fairytale Princess, Wizard (another rare male character in a dress!).

Series 13: Evil Wizard (yet another rare male character in a dress!).

I also wonder if you will count the Genie (Series 6) and the Genie Girl (Series 12), as their lower halves seem to be similar to the parts found on the different mermaids, although the Genie's lower half is just plain.

And here are a few recent dresses fatured in other sets.

The Princess in LEGO Juniors Set 10688 The Princess Play Castle.

The Princess in LEGO Castle Set 70403 Dragon Mountain.

As mentioned in a poat above, there is a new green princess in Set 10223 Kingdoms Joust, and the queen in that set has a different face but in the same dress as the Kingdoms queen from the 7952 Kingdoms Advent Calendar.

Please add to the list as I haven't been through all of the different LEGO themes yet!

Oh, someone dug this old topic from its grave?

As it so happens, I've continued collecting the printed dresses, but there's so many of them nowadays I've stopped keeping a list of them. My apologies.
