The Penguin Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) Ladies and gentlemen! ) I'm proud to present you my victorian (real and fictional) characters in LEGO form. ) You may have seen some of them already, but some are entirely new. ) I hoipe you'll enjoy them. ) Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson. ) 'Elementary, Watson!" Victorian "Bobby". ) My favourite Oscar Wilde!. ) "People who count their chickens before they are hatched act very wisely because chickens run about so absurdly that it's impossible to count them accurately." "The mystery of love is greater than the mystery of death." My favourite Queen Victoria of the British Empire. What a woman! ) (Please, note her hairpiece idea. I really like the look of it! ) "The important thing is not what they think of me, but what I think of them!" Edited October 14, 2009 by The Penguin Quote
-JD- Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Very nice techniques Penguin! My favourite has got to be the Policeman, or 'Bobby'. Sherlock looks great too, and a little cheeky! Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 My dear Penguin, you've done it again! I'm actually watching hound of the Baskaviles right now, Holmes and Watson are very accurate! I like the use of Snape version 1's set of clothes as the policemens clothes. And Queen Vicky is simpley wonderous, you've captured her apperence in the picture brilliantly! A quick question: will these be regulary updated like your Batman figures, or is this simply a one off? Quote
Big Cam Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Stunning, you captured those figs right on. I absolutley love the Sherlock holmes one, that's my favorite. Is the magnifying glass a LEGO piece? Quote
Dr Kilroy Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) Very nice! I also made Sherlock and Watson, they are very similiar. I like the queen's hairpiece. Magnyfing glass is a Lego part, it can be found in some Adventurers sets. Edited October 4, 2009 by Dr Kilroy Quote

Sandy Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 These are fantastic, and very accurate. I'm fond of Oscar Wilde as well, even though I haven't read any of his work. He was just such a courageous (and outrageous) person for his time. I have to say my heart cries a bit to see the beautiful queen's dress painted black, though. But I can live with it, since it fits Victoria so well. Quote
