Woohoo, is that your work?

No, although I wish I had made that.

Judging from the URL, the creator's name is Kaminoan so all credits to him.

Google images. The greatest invention after the wheel.

Oh yes, I'm a lucky @#$&*%astard!

Btw, to speak the truth, I WANT SNOW!!! :sing:

Looking out the window I see snow!

Sure thing. Just wait for me to digest these lamb chops first!

You lucky guys, here is snowing at the moment at Zero degree... :cry_sad:

Oh well, I am going to the hill to skid with sledges with friends, who needs bikes anyway :cry_sad:

Haha, that's nothing, it has been below zero for days now, and I'm in the US so that's fahrebheit not celcius.

Last night it was -30F.

Now that's cold, and that was not factoring in the wind.

Come down here and you can ride my bike. Stop by Zorbas on the way and get some lamb chops. Greek lamb chops are about the second best thing in the world. Greek goat on a spit is the first.

BTW Melbourne Australia has about the fourth largest population of Greek speakers in the world.

Well, if you insist on Greek chops, I can stop by Zorbas and take them, but I assure you that our lamb chops are extra delicious, too...Ok I am packing my sledges and chops and I am coming, worm up that bike, please!

CloneCommanderDelta7 can ride, but I cant, it is too cold, but no one says we must be separated from our bikes...

Now that was hilarious! No wonder why they say that bikes are like chicks.

The weather here is just perfect for riding. 25 Co, the sun is shining and it's New Year's day!

We are the european land down under I guess.

Btw, to speak the truth, I WANT SNOW!!! :sing:

Since its a motocross bike, it cannot be registered, plus I am unable to get a licence anyway. I am this close to riding it and I have found the perfect area to ride so I'm going to gather up my mates and all head out for a day's riding.

Yes, bikes are, but for a road bike that's about 200kg (guessing) with petrol all over the bed. 'Rolling over in bed. "Oww! *^&$! What the hell!?...Oh its the.."'

Snow would be cool, but the real reason that snow is cool for me is SNOCROSS!!!

Extremely Huge Picture About 2000-2500 pixels!

Oh, yeah!!

Oh, lord, what have I done...

I've turned this topic into "Does anybody else like lamb chops around here?"

Now I mostly remember the food we ate 2 days ago and not the V-Strom ride.

I guess we are all carnivorous mammals in here.

I know!

I'm with Zorbas on those lucky temperatures, New Year's Day had a record high temperature in store for us. Pity the cold winds have once again started blowing since then, but after all - it's winter, and it's January, so you can't expect anything else, now can you.

As to those Serbian and Greek specialties - I can only say Mmmmmmmm!!! Let's hope this year will finally be THE year when I manage to save up for a bike and come over to grab a bite with you guys ;]

Well you could always bring both :-) I don't even need to warm up my bike, in this weather it'll only take a few seconds to warm up anyway.

Do you have any images of the KTM 990 Adventure Arctic Concept that was shown in the Milan Motorcycle Show? Or any groups of great photos of all the bikes? I'm looking for pictures of the KTM, Suzuki RME125 and the Suzuki RMX450 supermotard? Links appreciated Thanks!

I'm going to the Minneapolis Cycle World International Motorcycle show in Feburary in Minneapolis MN. I'll keep an eye out for it and see if I can get any good pics.

Sorry to ask you guys again, but after our very short ride (we spent kickstarting more than riding) we took it to my uncle's house, which thankfully is an acreage. Maybe such a big land space is bad because my Dad, who has a bad kickstarting technique (and I'm not much better) couldn't get with many kicks handed it over. Once my uncle sat on it, played with the various controls (choke, hotstart, etc) pulled out the kickstarter and no more than once his foot hit the bottom of the stroke, the bike roared into life.

Once he rode over the gravel (no helmet) like a maniac and downwards past his dam and up again, he stopped and said that he wouldn't buy this bike. Our faces lit up at the concept of going back to our riding spot.

He had trouble starting it again (choke, hotstart and he played with the idling speed too) so he made it as we thought that it couldn't be done again.

So what can we do? I would like to try and mellow the thing a bit and help the kickstarting, but how? Any ideas? I haven't ridden it yet either as once my Dad stopped and pulled over, we couldn't get it to go again. Maybe a choke that doesn't spring back is a bad idea.

I guess it is a carburettor bike?

Maybe the spray needle is dirty, or too small.

Could also be the choke settings, dirty valve etc..

Good thing about carburettor bikes is that they are easily adjustable. :classic:

I took my bike out this morning, bad mistake, almost went down twice. :hmpf_bad:

To me it sounds like a comination of maybe the fuel not being switched on and the choke.

He may have adjusted the idle as well.

I'm kind of confused on the total situation though, is this your bike or a bike you're looking to buy? And what did your Uncle do to it?

He had trouble starting it again (choke, hotstart and he played with the idling speed too) so he made it as we thought that it couldn't be done again.

Sorry but your writing has gotten me confused.

He had trouble starting it...

Yes, it is a carburettored bike and yes I definately had the fuel on.

Big Cam, the answer to what he did to it is - he rode hell on it! Pretty damn fast one, he is. :yoda:

My Dad got a little angry with it and traded it for a CRF150F. I am confused. :sing::sadnew::hmpf_bad:

Oh well, at least I will be able to ride it.

OK, I'm even more confused now but it sounds like the problem has been solved by form of getting rid of the bike.

So it's been a while since my last visit. Mailnly because the weather is to bad for me to drive in. :sceptic:

Yes, i'm a whimp.

Yesterday my bike came back from the shop from its winter tune-up. The dealers have a special rate, and I fell for the marketing trick.

However I did order myself a new handlebar, all black, and it looks great.

Now I really can't wait for spring. Last year I could start at March 2nd so who'll knows about this year.

Fingers crossed.

EDIT: just made this new icon, hope you like it.
