I want a motorcycle... Planning on getting my permit in the near future.

Also explains why I build a lot of hoverbikes. Why don't we have them yet!?

Ohh, aren't you mean!

Too bad that I don't have original photos from a digital camera. I bought my first one in 2004 and the accident I had was in 2003 (with this bike).

I REALLY miss riding... :cry_sad:

I like the bike, and the pphotoshop job looks professional, really.

I'm telling you man, riding misses you too!

Thanks Big Cam. Perhaps I should consider working as a cement mixer operator since the result looks good.

I think I have to do something about that.

Yeah Zorbas, get back on and then at the 2012 event we will have an EB ride out!

:sweet:

I think you'd be promoted to Foreman right away.

It's like riding a bike, you never forget.

I guess I took the "Building is fun" LEGO statement too seriously.

60 degrees here today, no clue what that is in Celsius as I'm too lazy to go convert it. Snow is melted...very tempted. Then I think about all the crap that would get kicked up and salt residue on the road. So, I just started her up today for five minutes and thought of all you.

I'm getting excited to take my bike out of the back of the garage as well. We just had a week of 40 degree weather so some of our snow melted but there is still plenty to go around. What sucks gere is even after the snow is gone, it takes a good month for all the roads to be cleared of salt and sand.

Well I haven't stopped riding so my odometer is almost at 4000 now! Here's me in standard riding gear.

I also apologize for the terrible photoshopping on the rider but since she's one of my ex-girlfriends I think that it was the right thing to do. This photo was taken in 2002.

I must confess that I didn't notice the edit until you mentioned it!

Springtime bump.

I hope to get my bike out of the back of my garage before May. I'm still kind of waiting for the street cleaners to come pick up all the sand that they throw down every winter.

I swear I'll get pic's up this year. New ones anyway.

Isn't she a beauty? (The motorcycle that is, not the cemented girl. )

Whoa, so you really are a member of the Greek mafia; cementing ex-girlfriends and all... Although come to think of it, I must totally agree with peterab - ex's are just better off left under (at least) 10 layers of cement.

As to my bike exploits - I've been waiting for news on what could be a "big opening" for me for the last 2 months. I was kinda hoping it'd happen by mid-March so I could properly celebrate the official start of the season (last weekend of March around here), but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Still keeping my fingers crossed though... In any case, it's a good thing I still haven't got a bike since it's proving to be a pretty weird year in terms of weather. There were two weeks of perfect spring weather at the end of March, but since then it's been strong winds non-stop - and yesterday it even snowed. *huh*

I hear you, we are supposed to get snow on Saturday, which is weird since we just had a week of 60 degree weather, Fahrenheit that is, sorry, I'm in the states.

Keep your fingers crossed, and good luck.

My first/ current bike. 2000 Suzuki GSX-R600. Bought it at an auction with 13,000 miles, late 2007, replaced battery and got to figuring how to ride. Previous owner painted it and it just so happened to be the same color as my mountain bike. 15,xxx mi, no repairs or wrecks and wantinng a bigger bike. Or at least newer ... someday. Nothing like being on 2 wheels. If only this freakin rain would quit!

I think you can now log on to flickr using various accounts - give it a shot. If that fails, there's always photobucket...

Your SRAD looks great, what would you like to switch to, 750cc or 1000cc?

@L-Space: Got the Fat Bob out, eh? What a beauty!

BTW can someone clue me in on a site to upload a replacement photo so I can deeplink it here. I'm sure Brickshelf wouldn't like this and I don't have yahoo!... so Flickr may be out of the question? :classic:

Flickr is the easiest sollution I guess. It works for me!

Thanks.

Took it to work today. The weather is to good to spend it sitting in a train and bus.

Thanks, I'd like a 1000 but, a 750 would be less expensive. Dream bike = Hayabusa

Well, congrats on selling it - enjoy the Specialized for the time being  But seriously, I hope you find a great Busa to replace that soon. If that's your kettle of fish, I'd also recommend having a look at the new ZZR 1400 (bit expensive though) and/or Honda's Blackbird - it might be old, but it's still a mighty fine bike.
