Guards Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) Hey I'm building a AAC-Hovertank since one week. It's true thoug that the AAC is a vehicle from the alliance, but Because I don't like the alliance, I've built him in the styling of the republic. Now instead of Wine-red and light grey he is dark green and dark grey, however, I like this farbkombination. A special problem was the Stabilisation of the side walls with this vehicle, but now this should be stable. None owns functions of the AAC up to a Speeder in the middle part and swivelling rocket launchers, sorry Btw. The alliance emblem is still exchanged and the cockpit is changed a little bit, pictures follow maybe tomorrow all the same, enough talked, here are the pictures: And srry for spelling mistake, I am no Englishman. LG, hope you write Edited October 21, 2009 by KimT Quote
Big Cam Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks, way to make an entrance with a great MOC. I like your design, it looks hevily armored and the two large missle pods are great. I would like to see more pictures of how the speeder bike comes out or from where, does it just come out from the top? Quote

Thank you Of course I can do even more pictures, but only tomorrow, I go to bed now, srry. In front, the Speeder lies in the middle of the vehicle, there is a flap MG G Quote
Skipper 24 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I love this, great work . It looks exactly the same as the Alliance version and the new colour scheme is just great. The details are really nice too, like the speeder bike and rotating missile pods. Quote
CommanderFox Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I love this! Well done Guards It's a perfect resemblence Very nicely made aswell! The turrets are amazing! And the terrain is Great! I love that little AT-RT or walker aswell Great job! CommanderFox Quote
RepublicForces Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Wow, thats awesome! but i think the dark green is a bit "out of place", and maybe a bit to long. Edited October 8, 2009 by repubilcFORCES Quote
KimT Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Wow, that's a great MOC. I like the use of dark green and the sides of the AAC are also pretty well done Welcome to Eurobricks, and do not stress yourself over your English skills. You can only do your best, that's all we ask - a lot of us aren't native speakers of English. Quote
TheMaster Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Wow this is an amazing MOC! I love the colour scheme. I think it goes well with the vehicle Welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
Legostein Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Hello! An excellent creation! Lots of greebling details and many many moving parts. The concealed speederbike is a nice gadget. I also like the new species with the horn on the head as a minifigure Jedi. Thanks for sharing! ~ Christopher Quote
Optimus Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Great job, I really like little speeder bike. Excellent work on the hovercraft itself as well, you did the missile launchers and cockpits very well. Quote

I also like the new species with the horn on the head as a minifigure Jedi. Thanks for sharing! I thought that the jedi was supposed to me kiadi mundi but it matters not. I adore this moc, and think that the green is butiful, but I don't understand what is going on with the factions Quote
prateek Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Wow! That thing is hugely awesome! What a great way to kick off your EB career Quote
ILikePi Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Wow, for a first MOC, that is amazing! It looks very detailed and it captures the shape of the real one very nicely. Also, welcome to Eurobricks! I hope you have a great time here. Quote
OptimusPrime12380 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 It's a good MOC, however it doesn't look anything like the Alliance AAC I know and use quite often in SWBF II. It seems too long and the turret design isn't very accurate. This is just my opinion and it's based on the renderings of the tank from the SWBF II game. Quote
Smidy101 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Very cool model. Love the rocket launchers and the AT-RT. This creation is good enough for TLG to copy. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Sweet! The only thing I would do is too turn the intake around on the speeder. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 That is amazing! Star Wars Battlefront II isn't that correct anyway, they only made them look like they do because that suited them, not because it is correct to everything else. Quote
Forresto Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 This is pure excellence, I can't even begin to describe how cool this moc is. I wonder if you could post pics of your AT-RT? Quote
Guards Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 So, thanks for all your commants. Of course I've got pics of the AT-RT Walker, unfortunately, they aren't so good. And a few more pictures of the AAC Many Greetings Quote
LegoGunInstructions Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I must admit - this is f---ing cool! You should work for Lego Quote
Kelso Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Wow, I wish lego made this set because it looks amazing! Do you have building instructions? Or is that rude to ask? Quote
Kristof Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 It's the first time for me to see this vehicle - never noticed this before. It's great build, looks really good. Quote
