ACCURATEin Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 Thanks Gentlemen! I don't have many updates right now because a lot of the LEGO that i've acquired needs to be organized before i can begin building any MOCs. I've decided to throw together a classic town on the lower shelf under the city so i should have some photos of that in the coming weeks. Quote
ACCURATEin Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 I built another ambulance!.. Tomorrow i'm attending my first LEGO fan festival which is very exciting. Nathan Sawaya is a special guest that will be there. Quote
ACCURATEin Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 ^haha thanks! I'm also planning on building this lime green McDonald's truck... Quote
ImLost Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Wow, that ambulance looks great! My only complaint is that the gray steps on the side and back of the vehicle are positioned too high. But that small nit-pick aside, great shape, great color scheme, great decals. Well done! Quote
prateek Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 ^haha thanks!I'm also planning on building this lime green McDonald's truck... I cannot wait! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Excellent ambulance 'ACCURATEin' - is there an interior ? Like to see this green Macca's truck too when it's done. I'm a conformist! 'ACCURATEin' I'm a conformist! ! Quote

But that small nit-pick aside, great shape, great color scheme, great decals. Well done! Thanks for your comment! That's a good observation. I'll take a look at the design and see what can be done to lower the step platform. I cannot wait! Should look pretty radical being entirely lime green with black accents! Excellent ambulance 'ACCURATEin' - is there an interior ?Like to see this green Macca's truck too when it's done. I'm a conformist! 'ACCURATEin' I'm a conformist! ! Thank you Sir! The interior is unfinished. There is a lot of room for improvements inside! I will have to build this truck soon since a couple of you guys are anxious! Quote
ACCURATEin Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 I lied! The lime green McDonalds truck was put on the back burner. In the meantime, i've built a Coca-Cola truck and my girlfriend built a modular bank while I worked on a Dunbar armored truck. Here are some updates!... I also decided to redo the Chick-fil-a into a modular version. That's all for now. Quote
BobaFett2 Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I am completely in awe. I never could make a decent City myself. Where do all of those parts come from? There aren't that many on Bricklink. Do you work for LEGO and get free parts? Quote
prateek Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 The new additions are great! I like the Coke machine and truck, and the bank looks really nice beside the GE Quote
ACCURATEin Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) The new additions are great! I like the Coke machine and truck, and the bank looks really nice beside the GE Thank you Sir! Well i've got a few updates. I am having trouble focusing with one MOC. Ideas will pop up in my head and i'll start on new ones. Right now there are 4 or 5 ongoing projects haha. Does anyone else ever have that issue?! ... Started on a modular IKEA. The idea probably came from the fact that i finally stepped inside a real IKEA about two weeks ago. I found out that if you eat in the IKEA foodcourt on thursday evenings, you will receive a coupon to use in the store for the amount you spend buying food. I walked out with a nice new table for .89 cents!! I'm now using it as a build table. Go figure! My girlfriend made all the furniture. There will be an elevator in the corner. And here is what I have so far with the McDonald's recycling truck.. That's all for now. Edited June 3, 2010 by ACCURATEin Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Well haven't we been busy 'ACCURATEin' eh ? AWESOME work again dude........missed the Coke truck the other week - sorry, but it's SWEET ! The Ikea idea - LOOKING GOOD - oh, plus the additional trucking fleets - VERY NICE ! Man, keep up the GREAT work (your girlfriend MOC's nice furiture pieces - tell her GREAT job too !) I'm a conformist! 'ACCURATEin' really I'm a conformist! ! P.S. Now I have to catch up on my MOC'ing of New Mannum whew ! Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Well what can i add to all the comments above?... It's just a brilliant room of craziness i'd say! And a pretty bunch of trucks to! I guess a regular car doesn't bring that much of a challenge anymore i guess? ;) a true Lego environment! Cheers, JJ. Quote
prateek Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) AWESOME!!!!!!!1 That Ikea looks great, although it might be too small for an Ikea I'm liking how that green truck looks so far too EDIT: I was looking through the flyers today, and on the fron of the Best Buy one, there was a pic of a new Best Buy that looks exactly like your Ikea! I find building cars to be a harder task than trucks. Thank you! You're right about the size factor haha. IKEAs are massive structures. But now that you mention it looks like a Best Buy.... maybe it could be either/or?! In the last 24 hours, we decided to design, build, and finish a modular corner building. We decided the best fit would be a post office!... Here is what we came up with.. Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Nice post office 'ACCURATEin' - great use of grill bricks and 2x1 panels - nice one ! Keep up the COOL work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
blhc11 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Hi there, I just droped by the LEGO Town forum and stumbled upon this, I spent about an hour analyzing all of the work you have put into this and I have to tell you this is an awesome build, I wish someday I get around to sorting my bricks so I can build something this awesome, now you just need to find a nice spot to put a spider-man minifigure swinging around and you'll have a perfect city(not exactly New York, but cool as well =D). Cheers. Quote
Zorbas Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Beautiful building and very city-ish! Gray works surprisingly great here and it's even better that you've used different tones of it. I just love the way you've used the container boxes in order to construct the columns! Excellent! Well done for once more ACCURATEin! Quote
wooootles Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Wow, I was on a PaB wall not too long ago and didn't take a single dark grey box... and now I realize you can use it as columns Damn nice use of the pie and a great MOC! Quote

Excellent!Well done for once more ACCURATEin! Thank you Zorbas! Nice! I really like those plant thingies Thanks prateek! My girlfriend had built that a while back and I spotted it sitting between two of the tan houses. I immediately thought it would look good inside the box i had made on the corner. Wow, I was on a PaB wall not too long ago and didn't take a single dark grey box... and now I realize you can use it as columns Damn nice use of the pie and a great MOC! haha you should go back and see if there are any left on the wall. Thanks for the comments. Here is a shot of the inside... Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Nice interior shot 'ACCURATEin' really nice, I really like the scales on the counter. Great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
wooootles Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 haha you should go back and see if there are any left on the wall. Thanks for the comments. Probably still there. Only problem is that that particular PaB wall is about 7 hours drive away Quote
