Darth_Ewok Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 This is my first good MOC in a LOOOOONG time! ;) Some backstory on the MOC (My own Lego Universe) can be found on my MOC page: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/1920 (Read the bottom part, I am going to post this MOC there tommorrow.) I mostly used parts from the B-wing (New one) But I did use some others for the inner body of the ship. Edit: See my MOC page with all the pics! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/13100 PLEASE RATE/REVIEW IT!!! Information: The Avenger A-202 is a short-mid range fighter. Its primary purpose is to escort larger ships (like transports) its speed and agility combined with quad MKIII Cannons make it a good dogfighter. But it can't stand up to a heavy ship in combat... The Avenger is mostly used with Destroyer class support cruisers which can carry maximum 20 (4 wings of 5) It is not used with heavier ships like Capital ships and Battleships due to its light armor, those cruisers get the BIG fighters (Coming soon!) As well as the Bombers and stuff (Coming soon again! ;) ) History: At the beginning of the war, the Federation needed a way to fight those annoying Coalition "rebels" and their fast, light starfighters. Thus the Avenger was born, with speed and firepower this all around good fighter could match the fastest Coalition ship in combat and was lethal in groups. However, their armor is rather weak, which prompted the Coalition to respond with a new toy of their own ;) (Next MOC)... Quote
Aredhel Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 That looks great!!! Really nice space MOC! Quote
ApophisV Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 That's some sweet lil fighter! :) I really like the shape of it, reminds me of some Star Trek'ish Klingon or Romulan design concepts... It's always nice to see creations that use the parts in different angles to each other unlike the standard 90 Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Very nice! My first soace MOC wasn't even close to that :$ . But that was quite some years ago though ;) Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 As some minor negative point I'd suggest to remove the yellow OR the trans orange highlights because those two colors doesn't work together that good in my opinion...Nonetheless really a great vessel you did there! Yeah, I was trying to find more orange, but couldn't... I will probably replace the orange with some yellow instead. Thanks! *satis* Quote
