It so tempting to burst in on one game thread and yell 'Concentrate all fire on that Super Star Destroyer', or some other random line!

I'd rather you didn't.

Are you still needing a player, ADHO? I haven't shown any interest in playing, since frankly, I suck at strategy games. But if you are in dire need of a player I'd be willing to give it a go.

Rest assured, if I started to play I would stay dedicated to the game. I'm not a quitter.

I could take either side as I have a sizable army on both sides.

I guess I'm saying that if you don't need anyone, it won't hurt my feelings, but if you do, I'm game.

Thank you very much for your interest, Walter. :sweet:

The truth is that now pedro has left, I have eight players and am therefore in no need of a ninth. However, I'll hold you in reserve so that, should an existing player drop out or if someone else expresses their interest, I'll be able to include you. With it being a pairs game, I can't do much with you on your own.

I've been trying to PM Forresto to get going, but either he's blocked or is just flat-out ignoring me.

Okay, he's probably just a bit busy. Thanks, Legonater. :classic:

OK, that works for me.

When will the fourth match start? I have to admit, it is fun to watch these battles develop, as unbalanced as some of them are.

I'm free all of friday so then, I guess. :classic:

The pairs are all random or based on the players' locations, not the size of their armies. If the players aren't bored by the end, they can all play each other to form an accurate leaderboard so the order of matches won't matter.

In the meantime, if you know anybody else that might be interested in playing, you could sugget it to them. I also have no objection to you signing up in the entry thread as a potential player.

I don't think I understand. Why don't you have all the matches (aka. Games) of Round 1 at the same time? That way we'll all be done around the same time and could move on to Round 2 together.

why are all the votes against me?! :cry_sad:

You do realize the size of the army you're up against, don't you? I know, "size matters not", but still. Nothing personal.

I'll play. Preferably sign me up for the Republic.

Sure, that's great, MB.

If Walter still wants to play, I can set up a fifth game between you two.

To enter, you both need to make one post in the entry thread. Please post in the same style as the other players:

-Clear photos showing all figs separate from vehicles and with weapons

-The vehicle positions you want your figs to occupy.

Once you've both done this, I'd be very happy to start your game. :classic:

If you have any questions, PM me or ask in this discussion thread.

Well, it hasn't worked out that way, but I could try that for round 2. This way, there'll be a slight delay in between the rounds. However, each game won't last the same amount of time, so you wouldn't all finish together.

I'm game, but I have a quick question first. I am in the middle of building a rather large MOC right now, and I have had to scavenge pieces from my CW sets. It looks like I'm taking the CIS side, which is good since I scavenged far fewer pieces from those sets. All of the sets are still recognizable, just not complete. Will it suffice if I photograph the sets in this state, or should I cobble them back together?

For instance, I stole some bricks out of the new AAT. It still looks like an AAT, but the cockpit sides are missing currently. I also snitched the pneumatic T-pieces out of the STAP from the AT-TE set.

It will take me a few days to get photos taken at any rate. Probably this weekend, assuming I find the time. Always need to find the time...

If you include the instruction booklets with the parts you have, that should be fine.

That's fine. There's no rush. :classic:

Will do as soon as I finish rebuilding my CTT...

Looks like I have to get off my megablocks and take a photo or three

I ran into a snag this weekend when I went to do this. I had forgotten that I dismantled my 7662 MTT, and I'm not about to jump into battle without that piece of equipment. I also need to track down a few random troopers (like the droideka and SBDs from the original RGS). So a little more patience, please.

Sure, Walter. That's fine.

Please remember that this is the discussion thread and that's the entry thread. When you come to post your army, please make sure you EDIT that existing post and DO NOT create a new post.

Thanks! :classic:

I'm ready hopefully it won't take you long to rebuild it. :classic:

Things are slowing down again, people. Surely you can each spare ten minutes every day or two to make a post?

It gets boring if you drag it out.

I have no problem with you going away or taking some time off from the game, but at least let me know.

Thanks!

Alrighty then.

I've updated my post in the entry thread this morning. I was unsure which of the SBD's are the Heavy SBD's, but I have three of the blues and three with the blaster arm, so I assumed I have three Heavy SBDs no matter which way they fall. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The normal blue and dark grey ones are SBDs and the dark grey ones with rocket arms are HSBDs.

I'll check over your entry now. :classic:

So, are we ready to start?

I'll need some time to check and record his army and to set up the game. As always, I have a free Friday that I'll use to start the game. :classic:

Make sure you check it well. I've been known to make mistakes from time to time.

Edit: I'm SO dead!

I may have the larger army, but strategy is not my strong suit. That'll even the playing field, won't it?

My Republic army is even bigger. I am a huge fan of the Clone Walker BP.
