ADHO15 Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 Wait - I thought you said vehicles cannot be turned? How else are they going to move across the map? I said large vehicles cannot be moved diagonally. They can move forward and then swing to the side to move up or down they can then swing back again to keep moving forward.
Oky Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 How else are they going to move across the map? Maybe sideways, like the Fighter Tank in Battlefront can? But you are right, you never said that they couldn't turn. When I asked that question, you never really answered it. Shame on you! You also haven't answered my question whether BDs can movie in groups of only 5 or up to 5. Btw, can we do the same action more than once in one turn? For example, would something like this be OK: Move Count Dooku forward. Count Dooku melee attack. Count Dooku melee attack. Count Dooku melee attack. Move Count Dooku backward. (I chose Dooku because he's the hit-and-run type. )

I must have been overwhelmed by the sheer number of them. I was bound to leave one out. I don't remember you ever asking me that. BDs can move together in a group of five or individually. That's it. No you can't. With a unit, you can only move or attack in one turn, not both. Edited November 1, 2009 by ADHO15
Oky Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I don't remember you ever asking me that. I can't blame you for that. I edited that one into the post seconds after you hit the reply button. No you can't. With a unit, you can only move or attack in one turn, not both. I see. How about vehicles? You really should have explained what you can or cannot do in a turn better. And instead of forcing everybody to read the entire 14 page thread, I think you should edit all the answers you gave here into the word document with rules and send out the updated version to all the players again.

Oh, right. It's the same for vehicles, except that applies to loading and unloading as well. Alright then, but that'll mean putting the game off for a bit longer.
Oky Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Oh, never mind then. I want this game to start ASAP. If anyone is unclear on something, they will probably ask. What's the current starting date anyway?

When I pair everyone up, I'll ask everyone when's convenient to play and we'll start the first game.

I can't take the photos(I'll try before deadline) but this is what I have: I need pics before the game starts, or else you cannot play. Also, Darth Maul and your vultures don't count. You can add to your army between rounds, yes.
General Magma Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Your AAT and MTT need a commander each. Can I have a battle droid driving the BP carriers? If so, I'll put one of them in each carrier. I move one commander to the AAT and the other to the MTT, and if I need a pilot in the AAT I let that pilot be in there and move out all of the other units in the AAT except for the commander (and the pilot). The AAT has space for 2. Its RA can be lowered to allow 4 more spaces. Are you sure you want to do this for one unit? No, then I don't. Hope those are fine. ~General Magma
CommanderFox Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) A couple of Q's: What is the command transport? Is it okay if Chewie has a rifle, instead of a crossbow? Could I just make it the same value as a crossbow? About my two Red sharpied clones, will you just make them generic clones? I don't mind if you do. If you let me play (im wondering if you won't let me since im really late ) can me and the person versing me sort out a good time to play? Also you roll the die, so will I and my opponent start playing when we either wake up or have time to go on the computar? Bear in mind, I wake up when you go to bed. What if my opponent is someone from the other side of the world? Would one of us post his turn, then when the other is on or awake, would he post his turn...and so on? Is the turret from 7655 allowed? Are clones allowed to have two rifles? What do you mean by Palpi calling in Air Strike? Do you need a gunship or the dropship? Can the other heroes-commanders call in Air Strike? Thanks and I hope you can answer those Q's for me Here's my small republic land army. I really hope Im not to late. I do have a AT-OT but it is dismantled for MOCing at the moment, here is proof that I own that set 10195 10195 MOC the engines and the parts are hopefully proof enough that I own the 10195 AT-OT set. Link to folder when public Forget about the pirate tank in the pics in the folder, I wasn't sure if that was in the game or not. Thanks! CommanderFox Edited November 3, 2009 by CommanderFox

Alright. A bit confusing, but I think I get you. You want your commanders moving to the AATs and battle droids replacing them on the droid transports? That's fine. What is the command transport? The communications transport is the small round vehicle from the new LAAT/i. It's essential for the game if you want to bring in reinforcements, bring dead units back or call in air strikes. Is it okay if Chewie has a rifle, instead of a crossbow? Could I just make it the same value as a crossbow? No. Wookiees can only use bowcasters. Sorry. He still has his melee attack. About my two Red sharpied clones, will you just make them generic clones? I don't mind if you do. You can use them as normal clone troopers as I can see they're what you made them from. I suppose that is how it would work, yes. I need to be present at all the games to update the map and make sure both players follow the rules. Is the turret from 7655 allowed? No. Are clones allowed to have two rifles? No. What do you mean by Palpi calling in Air Strike? Do you need a gunship or the dropship? Can the other heroes-commanders call in Air Strike? You don't have to have Palpatine to call in an air strike. Palpatine's special ability is bringing dead units back into the game. You just need a com. transport with any two pilots to call in an air strike or reinforcements. You don't need any actual air vehicles to call in an air strike. Hope that answers everything. Here's my small republic land army. I really hope Im not to late.I do have a AT-OT but it is dismantled for MOCing at the moment, here is proof that I own that set 10195 10195 MOC the engines and the parts are hopefully proof enough that I own the 10195 AT-OT set. The game's not started so you're alright. I know you told me when you ordered it and when it arrived and that MOC does use pieces from the set, so I believe you.
pedro Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) I've got 2 x 7675 AT-TEs. They're unbuilt at the moment - due to space issues - but would I still be able to use them in a Republic army if I photograph the boxes? Edited November 3, 2009 by pedro

They're unbuilt at the moment - due to space issues - but would I still be able to use them in a Republic army if I photograph the boxes? I suppose so. You'd need to be quick, though. No waiting days before posting pics. If you've not changed by the starts of the game, I'll just use the droid army you have now.

It's just for future reference Incidentally I'm going to add Assaj Ventress to my army position, riding Bloofin - I'll add a picture very soon!

Not a huge advantage, you just won't be able to call in any reinforcements or air strikes. Sorry, I just found this red one now. That's fine. Farr can't use that grenade or whatever it's supposed to be, however. You should give him one of Fox's pistols. He doesn't get anything extra for having two. I'll need another pic, though. Dang! I don't have palpi. And I don't have a com transport either, so I guess, no air strike for me. Oh well. Too bad. Yes it does! Thanks! One more Q. Are Minis allowed? Eg my Mini AT-TE. I presume no, aye? No, you're not allowed to use minis.
RepublicForces Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I don't have a palpi or an farr But I still have an comm transport (always comes with gunship) So can I do airstrikes?
ADHO15 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 I don't have a palpi or an farr But I still have an comm transport (always comes with gunship) So can I do airstrikes? You don't need a hero to call in reinforcements or an air strike, just a com. transport piloted by two units. The only special thing about Palpatine is that he can bring dead units back into the game when he's in the com. transport. Clear? Also, have you posted your troop positions yet?
