Hot damn! Since IHalo 2 and I've played it on my xbox and I have xbox live, and xbox is going to cut out live out of the original xboxgames, I get 400 microsoft points and an extra 3 months of LIVE added to my current year!

PLus I get the beta but I already got it with ODST.

I saw the Halo Legends DVD, and I was disappointed except for the last episode, "The Package" which was amazing! I hope that they will release another DVD with all CGI episodes.

I agree. The Package was the only decent, or at least, wholey watchable episode in the entire series.

Also, according to Halopedia, Noble 6, your main playable character in Reach, will be either male or female, as the player can chose, and each gender has a unique voice actor. And, even better, your multiplayer spartan, will be your Noble 6 in the campaign! This just keeps getting better and better!

And no, none of this is an April Fools joke.

Halo 2 is... is dead.

Last night, unidentified men known only as "Microsoft" brutally murdered our beloved game, letting it bleed to death for over 36 hours. In those 36 hours, many hundreds of followers got no sleep as they attempted to catch the last few games of Halo 2. Hundreds called in sick, skipped school and didn't go to work.

It was all in vain, for many fell asleep out of sheer exhaustion, flopping over their controllers and hugging the Halo 2 box tight as a pillow. But without any official warning other than "Today :(", the Microsoft men switched it off without giving a time so people could get their last ever Halo 2 games in.

This is a horrid crime.

I leave you now to rant and complain and create multiple hate threads on Bungie.net, as is everybody else.

It's not a joke.

Microsoft have said since about February that they are shutting off all the Original Xbox LIVE games. For Halo: Combat Evolved (or Halo 1), this is fine, as it doesn't have a Live feature because it came out before Live was invented, but for Halo 2, last night (British time) was the last every time to play it.

I signed in this morning and it's been discontinued.

I'd still recommend buying it though. The campaign is wonderful, the best of all the Halo games I'd say, and you can still have three others round your house to play split screen games with you.

And Halo 2 for Windows Vista still has a Windows Live feature, so get that too

Halo reach beta in a WEEK!

Cant wait been looking forward to this ever since i bought ODST

Really want to see the new guns and the new maps and that pic of the armour customization looks great.

I think the campaign though in this game will be the real star as this is bungies last halo story so its gonna be epic

If anybody wants to play a game when the beta is finally launched message me
