Posted October 12, 200915 yr What was suspicious was the cardboard window, where you rip up off the storage box to get to the legos, has each side taped down with clear tape. i just want to know if lego really sealed the sides of the bigger boxes with ordinary tape and not someone selling a used one as new. October 12, 200915 yr Yes, Lego did something like that with there mid- and late nineties boxes, especially with the larger system and Technic ones. But to be sure I would have to see the picture....
October 12, 200915 yr Dear gol, I have one thing to say to you. You lucky skunk. Regards, Raphy Sorry. Couldn't resist. ;D
October 12, 200915 yr MIB = mint in box MISB = mint in SEALED box. usually the latter refers to factory sealed. So if yours said mib, it can mean it was opened, put together one and carefully stored. as long as the bricks are in new condition, it can be listed as mint in box. Looking at your picture, it seems you got a misb version. Not just that, but the box itself looks very clean. mint in mint box... :D
