Ah, Halloween. Not very big over here in England but I still enjoy it. Especially when thers a Most Haunted: Live on!

If your looking for something simple, then you could make simple Fairy cakes but include some Chocolate Chip cookies in the mixture, so it would be diffrent from the other recipes, and then just decorate them with Orange and Black Pumpkin faces. Or Gingerbread Ghostys by simply buying Halloween Cookie Cutters and a bunch of icing from your local Supermarket. e.g.

But if your looking for something more elaborate, how about Marizipan Balls which look like Eyeballs? Or you could use some Royal Icing on waxed paper and "Ice" out a initial spider shape, if you like it, keep icing and then add black gel food coloring to get the mixture as dark as you can. It will dry a darker color than your wet icing looks. But beware, Royal Icing hardens very quickly so don't spend too long on detail. Be careful when taking the spiders off the Waxed paper since the legs will be fragile, then it should turn out to be quite a nice Icing snack. I made them last year for my family and they loved them!

But warn the people at the fair since they will have to pick them up gently since the Icing may melt off and create quite a mess.

Need any other recipes?
