Athos Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 My wife and I finished a rather significant MOC on Tuesday: Mrs. Athos, Jr. That means we had a girl, in case you were confused. And, of course, I made a little vignette to commemorate the approximately 18 hours of labor: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/...57622469329574/ Steve Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 CONGRATZ to you and the Mrs. I'll be sure to smoke a cigar for you tomorrow night! When you decide on a name, let us know! Stash2sixx/Adam Quote
Izzy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) Congratulations to both of you on the new arrival! I feel for Mrs Athos... 18 hours ugh! It might make her feel better to know that you do forget about all the pain fairly quickly. (Mine was 26 hours ) A future AFOL could also be called a BFOL (like my baby girl) Edited October 14, 2009 by Cutlass_Iz Quote
Rick Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations! One can only have respect for the ladies... Quote
Jipay Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations ! What approach will you be using in order to make her an AFOL ? Quote
Ras 74 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations Athos and Mrs. Athos! Any names that you consider so far? Quote
allanp Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations. I'm sure she'll make a fine AFOL haha! P.S. thanks for the excuse to enjoy a nice smoke Quote

Ratshot Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations I got a chuckle out of your MOC Quote
JCC1004 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congrats on your new baby. So when will she be joining EB? If you want an AFOL you should introduce Lego very soon, use mind control, and never let her hear the world Meagbloks ! About your MOC, where are the doctor's gloves? Not very santairy. Quote
Athos Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 When you decide on a name, let us know! Any names that you consider so far? Has the little girl already a name. Guess I should have added that little detail: Rebekah Catherine Steve Quote
McSmeag Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hey, well, since I know you'll want to be a good parent and buy her the best quality care items - and since that leaves less money for toys and Lego is so friggin' expensive, maybe you can teach her to not be a prejudiced jerk by getting her some Megablocks! :) Quote
Ras 74 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Guess I should have added that little detail: Rebekah CatherineSteve That is very beautiful names Congratulations again! Quote
Commander Flash Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Congratulations on the new kid Make sure no one buys her Megabloks for her birthday Quote
ILikePi Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Congratulations Athos and Mrs. Athos! A future AFOL could also be called a BFOL (like my baby girl) What about a Baby Fan of DUPLO (BFOD), or Future Fan of LEGO (FFOL - unfortunately this is the same as Female Fan of LEGO)? Quote
I Scream Clone Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Congratulations Steve and family, hope everyone is well. Time to by all the ultra rare Duplo you can lay hands on for bub! Best of luck with the changes bub will bring, and I hope you have plenty of sleep in the sleep bank for down the track. Quote
