Whats happend to this spanner?!

First of all.. I'd like to point out.. I didn't know where to post this.. so.. Second.. I DID NOT modify this piece at all.

The one on the left is the original, and the one on the right is the "defect" Anyone else have one? The Spanner is actually dark gray with white or LIGHT gray speckles..

Sounds to me like you have something very special!

There's nothing on BrickLink, so my guess is that it's simply a very cool defect!

maybe they accidently used the speckled black silver color to make the spanner.

It does give it a nice metal effect. This is one error that has some use.
