I like the feature in our profiles that tells us which forum we post the most in and the total number, and percentage.

I was curious is there any way we can see the rest of the forums we post in? Totals and such, or is it strictly limited to the top forum we post in.

Again, I'm just curious. :classic:

I was just about to ask the eact same question.

So yes, what he said?

I was wondering about this as well. Also other statistics, like posting activity over time, for example. I wouldn't want anyone spending time on this, but if it would merely be a matter of 'enabling' some more statistics, it would be fun to see.

That's exactly what I was trying to say, this clearly is not important enough for the staf to code it in or anything like that but if it's a forum feature that is possible, I think it'd be cool.

but I'm rather sure it's not supported in the Invision forum software.

Then maybe we should just change the software!:tongue:

I too, would love to see more statistics, but not if it means a staff member would need to work their butt off making it.

There's a Most Active In... thing in your profile, and you can probably guess the rough percentages of the other subforums you post in by how much time you tend to spend there...

Ya, I know about that, that's why I started this topic, I refer to it in my first post. I guess that's our best option.

Too bad, but this is a great place even without it.

I've been "most active" in Pirates MOC forum (16%), but I am certain that both the Pirates forum and the Shipyard are pretty darn close!

I also post quite often in nearly all of the "Themes forums" (all except Technic and Bionicle), the Community forum, and obviously the Staff forums.

I would like to post more in the Reviewers Academy but due to my tasks concerning the moderation of (mainly) the Pirates forums, the work on the blog (www.classic-pirates.com) and the production of eBay threads I just don't find the time to make or grade reviews anymore :look: .

I was wondering about this the other day (like most people it seems)

Here is what I did to figure it out *math warning*

1. I went to search clicked more options, then clicked even more options

2. Entered my user name, (match exact username)

3. Checked the search only "certain forum/subfourm" box

4. Clicked posts only

5. checked the show results as posts only

6. I Did not enter any text to search for I left it blank

7. I counted the posts it showed per page (25) for me

8. Multiplied the posts per page by how many pages there are but not the last page!!!

9. Go to last page and count them, which was (15) posts in my case

10. Math = 25 (posts per page) x 5 (the first 5 pages) + 15 (posts on the last page) = 140 (Total # of posts made by you in that forum)

Real heavy on the math :hmpf::laugh:

Clever! So there is a way to produce your own post statistics. Can you now find a way to automate this process, so I just have to click a button in my browser and a nice graph shows up?

I believe our forum doesn't have any software support on this aspect.

It's interesting to find out your own stats. If you monitor your profile regularly, you will notice where the main bulk of posts are coming from. Like myself, when I first started, my main bulk of post is in LEGO Historic themes. When EBRP first started along with Mystery Castle, most of my participations are inclined towards LEGO Wargames and Mafia Games. Now, with the current establishment of Reviewers Academy, I am posting more inside Reviewers Academy instead.

 Now a graph would be very cool!

But don't you think I have better things to do than find out how many posts I have made in a certain forum??? :hmpf_bad:

(and then graphing them)

Some nerd........

Like WhiteFang said, it really depends on what you are most interested in at a certain time.

Obviously pirates and historic themes.

Pirate MOCs: 48%

That's quite a lot while I'm active on other forums as well. :oh:

lol, I think you read the title only, as this wasn't the point of this thread.

No harm though.

Some nerd........

I guess that makes me a lazy nerd.

:oh3: but a lazy nerd is no better than a dork! You need to get something done to renew your nerd cred!

*goes and looks at the Jabba's sail barge review*

nvm...
