I am the proud owner of two of these machines.

They are neatly kept on top of my drawersystem (with 303 small plastic drawers full of Lego) so I never misplace them and they are always one grab away and colored in the exstinct old dark grey.

I would like to have a chrome silver brick separator one day though, ah... the dreams :oh:

Useful things, sure enough!

I have 5 (or 4, not entirely sure right now), 1 in green and the rest grey, all from Bricklink. I think you should have 2 at minimum since it's most useful for separating 2 identically sized plates.

Here's a link with the possibilities:

The grey ones are not expensive on BL, you can probably get one or two for less then $1 a piece, even as low as $0.15

I don't have any. I keep forgeting to get one at the Lego Store. Anyway, I'm a man, I don't nedd no stinking brick separator! I'd really like an orange one though. I'll probably have to settle with green. :hmpf_bad:
Haha, this is the best reply.

I am THE man, too, but still my fingers hurts sometimes, and I am not afraid to admit it! :classic:

I will have to order one with next BL order.

Arrogance only gets you so far in life

Why do something the hard way when there is an easier way to do it. The only downside is increased productivity, and fingers that won't get soar, therefore increasing your build and enjoyment.

Einstein once said "Nothing is worth remembering if you can write it down"

The same concept applies here. But hey, to each their own

I have dozens of em' just so there's always a couple near by (they work better in pairs) . I've seen them in red & yellow but have only green and 3 shades of grey myself. I've heard that there are blue ones out there thou.

I do not have any of them. I have just searched through youtube and it looks like it is very useful! Can anyone throw opinion about this part/set? Thanks catbricks.

They're like MAGIC for stuck plates, which is mighty essential when you have a three year old KFOL who likes to tile things - randomly.

What's always funny is that I have 7 or 8 of the things in green and grey, but when I always need one to get a stuck brick up, I can never seem to find one.

Its like they know that I'm in need and just hide!

4, all green and bought from S@H. I try to keep 2 upstairs and 2 down so they are always handy. I've been considering making one into a keyring.

Hahaha  That'd be a big keychain, but a very useful one. I think I have 5, though I may have more, all of them are grey. I don't know if i ever bought any on my own, maybe the first one. But as I absorbed my friends' lego collections I picked up more. I got a bunch of Mindstorms school kits from my friend's step-dad and there were at least 3 or 4 with that. That being said, at least one of them has gotten worn down from being over used and the other ones tend to migrate all over my apartment, so I wouldn't mind having more, especially if they were a cool color

I have two, both in dark grey. One is enough for most cases, but I seem to be constantly losing one or both, so it's nice to have two around.

Exactly what I was about to say!

I had them as a kid, no idea where I got them from tho but I'm so happy I still have them, very usefull!

I own a green brick separator. Very handy at times, tough to be really effective I think two need to be used together. There was a website which showed nicley how to use the separators( .gif animations). Anyone have a link?

Stauder.

Right here, it was posted in the other thread that got bumped as a result of my thread.

So I need to buy two? I'm not arrogant! I do need one but keep forgeting or can't get to one. I don't MOC much, but they'd be very useful.

I've got two, for exactly this purpose. Both green, both bought from the Lego store.

Now I just need to get around to building a case so I don't keep losing them.

lol, all in fun.

I don't think you need two, someone had just asked for that image.

I only have one and I have never found a brick that I ouldn't get off of antoher brick with just the one.

But for 2 and a half bucks, you might as well get a few.

I am about 99% sure I'm going to drop the money on an orange one, just because. :knight:

I've only got one grey one, which came from a Creator set. It's pretty handy, although I haven't dealt with heavily studded creations in a while, and the separator is useless on BIONICLE/TECHNIC. :sadnew:

I have 5 greys from the mid-90s. I don't remember how I got this many!

If I'm building it's a sure bet I'm using a brick separator. I only wish there was some kind of tile separator instead of my fingernails.

Doctor Sinister's MOC "Break Glass in Emergency" is awesome!

Here's mine featuring an MLCAD brick separator (slightly larger than the sig pic)
