cole Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 The HUVR (Hovering Unit, Variation R.) tank is a common vehicle among the NWA army, it is reliable, quick and heavily armed and armoured. The standered C class HUVR tank has a low front and raised turret with a morter launcher and heavy machine gun. The C class also has a reinforced front for ramming as well as two smaller machine guns mounted on the front. Other variations of the HUVR inclued T class, with a raised top and room for transporting half a dozen soldiers, S class, which is much lighter and only has a havy machine gun for armourment, it is used for scouting and reconosense. All the HUVRs are powered by eight X-90 thrusters, which allow C and T class tanks to reach speeds of 60km/h, and S class tanks to reach speads of 8-km/h. This is a C class, I'm going to try and work on the T and S class tanks later this week. Quote
Milan Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Awesome model! I like the propulsion engines the best. Color is nice, too! Quote
Optimus Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Excellent work. I like the diorama you made, especially the soldiers hiding behind the wall. The tank is an interesting design too. The engines are very simple, but work really well. The broken fence and use of those dark brown chains as rubble is great. Quote
Legostein Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Hello! An interesting design. I like the many grill parts, tiles and slopes. The way you used the mudguards as cover for the engines indicates the possibible existence a predecessor model with wheels before hovercraft technique was used. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Ezechielle Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Seen on Flickr! Very nice tank! And I especially like the way you made the guns Quote
