Rick Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Games are 'tested' in a few European countries if I remember correctly (not The Netherlands initially as well). Quote
iminifig Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) I just noticed the box shows a vampire, but none of the minifigs are vampires. I assume in order to match head with body colour — and the skeleton is white too, but wait the vampire on the box is actually cyanosis blue, so they could do it, just replace the red "demon" with a light blue vampire (works on the die too). ILikePi Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Hey Oky, I see your in the USA, where did you get this set?I can't find it on LEGO's site. He's either German or Danish (?), so he probably went there (or a relative bought it) to get it. Funny, Bricklink says 2009 and with so many copies out, I want to agree with bricklink.I've found one on bricklink for sale as well as 2 on ebay, all come from the UK, so maybe it's out now, but not int he US. Does LEGO usually release something in one country and then wait a whole year to release it in another? Not from what I've experianced. It's already out in some parts of Europe, but will be released in the US in August, if I recall correctly. And Rick is right - LEGO decided to test the Games sets in Europe because it's a new concept to everyone, so they need feedback before releasing them worldwide. Oky Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Couldn't they've matched the cones with the color of the Orc heads? You're right, they should have matched the colors somehow. I forgot to mention that in the review. I just noticed the box shows a vampire, but none of the minifigs are vampires. Yeah, I noticed that too, but forgot to mention it as well. It would have been nice if they would have included sand blue vampire heads instead of the old troll heads. But then again, this set already comes with three new heads (and with four of each at that), so I think we should be grateful for what we got. Hey Oky, I see your in the USA, where did you get this set? I can't find it on LEGO's site. Pi is right, my dad got them for me on a business trip to Germany. @Pi: Although I speak German fluently, I'm not German. I'm actually Turkish. That reminds me that I have never actually introduced myself here. It's probably about time. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Pi is right, my dad got them for me on a business trip to Germany. Looks like Bricklink it is. Quote
Front Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I picked this set up after seing this review. All the heads in my set was printed without any variations in quality, so obviously the reviewer has been unfortunate. Quote
Oky Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 Great. Well, thanks for letting us know, Front. And I'm glad that my review helped you make up your mind about the purchase of this set/game. Quote
