TheBrickPal Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I now pass all of the requirements. May I have a Hau tag, please? Quote
DraikNova Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I think I qualify for the Black/White Hero Factory tag. Quote
TheGreatSpirit Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 You know, I think the review index is in need of an update.... Quote
TheOneVeyronian Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I've checked and now I definitely meet all the requirements for the Hau tag - so could I have a Hau tag please? Also, since I'm making a post here, I'd like to make a suggestion on a new tag which relates to MOC's revolving around Action Figures. I'm not sure if it's been discussed before or if something already exists, so apologies if it does (it wasn't obvious!). The System forums have the "MOC Expert" tag, the Pirate Forums have the "Ship Expert" tag, and the Technic Forums have the "Pro" tag - and I think that it would be a good idea for the Action Figures forum to have it's own "MOC Expert" type tag, awarded to people who consistently make excellent Action Figure MOC's (I can probably name a few in this forum that I think are deserving), called "Constraction Expert" or something similar. Just a suggestion. Quote

TheOneVeyronian Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) Perhaps a tag with a CCBS bone on it? That's what I had in mind as a design too. Maybe with "CCBS Expert!" or something like that written over it. Maybe I could whip up some designs for fun? But given the moderators for this forum are very busy at the moment, guess my idea is not going to happen any time soon (also, Hau tags haven't been given out even when people have requested one, see top of this page) Hopefully some much-needed updates to the AF forum and it's indexes will come soon. TheDesuComplex Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 New banner, updated tags, updated review index. No need to rush the mods though, I am sure we will get these in due time. Quote

Mandate Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) With the *edit*recent*edit* trend of the 2015 thread getting derailed, I think it's fairly obvious that now that we're frequently creating new threads for certain aspects of BIONICLE or redirecting discussion to said threads each time the 2015 discussion gets off-topic (but still relevant to BIONICLE) we're going to be having a lot of new threads getting very little attention in the long term and getting pushed to the end of the forum, which eventually leads to the topic becoming discussed in the yearly discussion thread. Most of the time discussion ends immediately in both threads because the chatter has been divided and people simply don't want to take the effort to discuss something elsewhere mid-conversation. Perhaps we could make (and pin) a BIONICLE (or other theme, should the need arise) megathread for discussion of BIONICLE in general and leave topics such as the yearly set thread for discussion of sets alone? I think it would work well enough in comparison to, for example, the thread for a new D2C set alongside a yearly set discussion thread. Edited July 11, 2015 by Mandate Quote

The size of the 2015 megathread has caused recent discussion about how to handle such future threads in the Action Figures forum, we are working to figure out what will be the best system to use. VBBN Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 For those wondering, the new Lego Media forum is not going to have a strong effect on the Action Figures forum. Because sets and story go so tightly hand-in-hand, I think it's best that it was all kept under one roof. As you know I did split the Bionicle thread between sets and story to see how it goes, but I have no plans to move the story threads into the media forum anytime soon. Fanfics and artwork will also be kept here, and any future games or movies are to be determined on a case-by-case basis, but again, most likely staying here unless there comes a need later down the line to split it. I do appreciate you keeping everything here, including the Star Wars stuff. It's a bit of a different population sometimes, but I think it works best if we're centralized. Although I gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of the split story/sets topics. Sometimes it works well enough, other times it really doesn't; considering how interwoven everything is, at least at this point, it gets a bit fragmenting to have to read both topics, and there's a lot of overlap between the two. Just my opinion. Quote
VBBN Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 THE REVIEW INDEX NEEDS TO BE UPDATED (Sorry about the large text, but I've posted about it before and it was ignored) Firstly I would advise against such use of font size in the future. Secondly, your request was not ignored, in fact the updates are done and are going to be rolled out soon along with a multitude of other things that are currently in the works. I know all of these updates that have been promised have been a long time coming, but do understand that myself, my staff, and all of our fellow staff have lives outside of Eurobricks and anything we do here is voluntary and sometimes real life can slow things down on here. I can guarantee you I am aware of every post in this subforum and anything at all that is a recommendation, comment, criticism, etc is noted, recorded, discussed, most certainly not ignored or forgotten. Just my opinion. All input is appreciated. We will continue to watch how it progresses throughout the year- again it's much easier to have started with them separate and combine them if need be later on as opposed to trying to go through and split a behemoth like the 2015 thread. Also to note: The review index is now no longer pinned, it can be accessed through the general index. This is to prepare for the upcoming new indexes to make navigation easier. Quote

VBBN Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 ^Hau added And I'm happy to announce the review index is now fully updated up to the Star Wars 2015 sets, now including Bionicle G2, and 2014-2015 Mixels with awesome help from TheOneVeyronian! Stay tuned for many more things in the coming month. Quote
VBBN Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 The general index has now also been revamped! Note: Artwork/Fanfics that were in the old general index will be in the respective creative index. Quote
Bbrink1996 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 How do the tags work if I may ask? The first post on this thread doesn't hold any info on them. Can I find info about them anywhere else? Thanks in advance. Quote
