The Executive Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Batman lego can beat spiderman lego anyday of the week. The Dark Knight returns for Lego *glasses* Quote
MattZitron Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 The Riddle! Everyone likes the riddle! And all those lesser villains... Like Zeus and Father Time, etc. Completely agree about more villains, but...Seeing as how we've established that the first set is from the Tim Burton / Michael Keaton era, we should look at movie villains first. Let's see Batman - Joker (check) Batman Returns - Penguin (check) and Catwoman (check) Batman Forever - The Riddler (no sign but I agree, would be really good) and Two Face (check) Batman and Robin - Mr Freeze (check), Poison Ivy (no sign) and Bane (no sign) If you want to consider Batman Begins (which I don't) then Rha's Al Ghul (or however you spell it) and The Scarecrow The 70s Adam West movie had Joker, Penguin and Catwoman who are all already covered and The Riddler. So, yeah, we need a "riddle" Keep your eyes out. You may be lucky on some of them!!! Batman legos can beat spiderman legos anyday of the week. The Dark Knight returns for Legos *glasses* AND LEGOS???? LEGOS??? Quote
thewrenagator Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 larger pic for easier viewing pleasure: doesn't it look like killer croc is holding spiderman's head (i know marvel not dc)? i hope harley quinn is included with the joker set. Quote
The Hordesman Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Sure, Crockyboy is holding spiderman's mask, no doubt about it. Hmm... Im thinking of legal issues... To all you Bluntmation fans out there... There is the solution to Steve and Dave's most important question in the universe; Spidey cant even beat Batty's baddies. :-D Two-face goes rampart with guns... Bulletguns, not lasers... I wonder what this does to the non-violence thingy...(same with pingu it seems) I hope this means that Two-face will come in the sets carrying two tommyguns! *glasses* Ok, I should stop using funny short names... Cutty Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Great pic! Love it... Though I feel this line had better come 15 years ago, when I was deep into all this dark knight stuff...well too bad.Now I hope TLC gives us a Batman vs. Lobo crossover set! ^^ See what THAT would do to TLC's non violence premise.... Are there any pics of the toyfair? Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Little pinguins ?????? sweeeeeet *wub* *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Wow it seems that lego is pulling out all the stops with this new line, if its as good as its sounds then i think alot of us will be very happy. Quote
MattZitron Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Great pic! PLEASE SCAN IT!!!! Quote
Lost Viking Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 So let me get this straight, the toyfair was today, with ALL the Batman stuff, and we still dont have pics... Wow, this site is really going down hill... :D :P Just kidd'n! Hehe, but when would we expect pics? Quote
Deinonychus Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Well crud, what a day for my scanner to be on the blink :/ This line looks like it has it all...Bad guys with single-piece molded Tommy Guns, penguins with pistols (!), a Joker playing card for the Joker, All-black and black and gray Batmen...yeah, awesome! Oh, and the Batboat is a wide hovercraft style vehicle for those curious. Low points: Joker's green vampire hair...but it's not that bad. Batman's cowl is HUGE! It's like a crash helmet. I only hope these are prototypes and the production cowl will be a little less robust :P I guess I have to wait for the second wave for an Azrael figure :D Quote
tophdawg Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 i am going to try and get the toy fare magazine today but im not sure if i can. if i get i will try to scan teh pics, but im not that computer savy. Quote
Deinonychus Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Another note... The text of the photo spread also mentions Commissioner Gordon as a minifig and makes a point about how many figures the line will have...which hints at figure packs. So I guess if that's true, Mattell has no problem with LEGO creating little block "action figures" seperate from their action figures like another company does :P Quote
tophdawg Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 what issue of ToyFare is this in if i can buy it i dont want to buy the wrong one Quote
The Hordesman Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Ooh! Any Bionicle sets? I think Bionicle will not get Bat-onua or the Penguka this year... Action figures? In the size of KK2 macrofigs? Im pretty happy over the Joker hair, since I dont know what else it could be. Speaking of the Joker, I really wonder where Harlet Quinn is, one of my old favorite characters... ;) Quote
thewrenagator Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 what issue of ToyFare is this in if i can buy it i dont want to buy the wrong one #103 i think. Quote
Deinonychus Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 what issue of ToyFare is this in if i can buy it i dont want to buy the wrong one #103 i think. That'd be it... It's the one with the Alex Ross Justice League action figures on the cover Quote
Vader Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Well for those of you who wish to view brickshelf now has pics. I would however ask that none of those pics be posted here for the time being please, a member of staff will let you know when its ok to post them Thank You. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Whoa, awesome find Vader! I just love the MF's for this new line. The vehicles don't look al that awesome though. Might pick up some sets if my financial situation allows it... Quote
Lost Viking Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 SWEET!!! THANKYOU VADER!!! LOOKS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Wow, amazing figs too! Lol, I love the pinguins! They have pistols, it looks hilarious! Quote
gusmoore17 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Like during Duel Darth Vader says :oD Impressive!!!!!!! *wacko* The minifigs are awesomely terrific and I think that the bat vehicles didn't looked that good in the photos, so let's wait, because the batmobile in the first pic posted here looked amazing and now for the toy fair didn't, which is of course, strange... Anyway, Didn't someone say that the Toy Fair would be in London on January 23rd??? Also, for those who blame FBTB.net for not being in a Toy Fair that hasn't happenned yet, let me tell you that the guys there always review the one from New York, which is until February, and if I am wrong, please correct me :P Now, let's hope that money last for Batman... :') Quote
