Lost Viking Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Jay, are you making a Gotham City MOC by any chance? Quote
sam89 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I never check the front page.....The Batcave is great. I'll probably just get that set, and no other Batman sets. Does it include the black-bodied Batman or grey? TT According to this thread on legionsoofgothamcom, a LEGO Employee say that the following sets come with the black Batman: Batmobile Batcave Arkham Asylum The rest come with the grey Batman. The pics in the magazine show the Batwing with the black Batman, but that could be a prototype pic. Quote
Zane Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Bingo! Thanks Sam. Who does everyone prefer - black Batman or grey Batman? TT Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Bingo! Thanks Sam. Who does everyone prefer - black Batman or grey Batman?TT Usually, I prefer the grey & black Batman (comics and such), but here I prefer the black one. The over-sized Bat-helmet isn't as noticeable on the black variant. Still, does anybody else wish for a blue and grey Batman? I want to MOC the 60s Lincoln Futura Batmobile, but it just isn't the same without blue and grey 'Adam West' Batman. Still, I'm only getting the Batwing and Batmobile (and possibly Arkham), so I'll settle for whatever 'Batmen' I get. Later. Quote
Evil Willy Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 OK..Hmm the batcave sucks its all big pieces everyone of them..It looks very bad to me but then again I havnt seen the rel thing...As for the rest they look somewhat good but I am still disapointed in the batman sets... Quote
Vader Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Well i prefer the black version torso wise...man i hate that cowl :'( Quote
Lost Viking Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I prefer black, but that's just me again :D. Quote
tophdawg Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 i like the grey batman dont know why just appeals more Quote
reideen1313 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Have a Batcave....TT That's actually a prototype pic - it has more penguins pictured than actually come with the set. IIRC there are 3 in the set instead of 4. Quote
reideen1313 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 There was a blue and grey Batman done initially. Unfortunately, that one was scrapped at the prototype stage. I saw one when I was in Enfield - I REALLY wanted that fig! :-D Quote
kotua Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Have a Batcave....TT That's actually a prototype pic - it has more penguins pictured than actually come with the set. IIRC there are 3 in the set instead of 4. You mean that instead of getting four pinguins...we only get three!? Thats dissapointing. I just realized that the security guard pictured in the Toyfare magazine is the same as the one in the spiderman set..(Except this one has the gun, which the spiderman one didn't.) Quote
Dark1 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 sry for double posting but i see Batman in the Batcave pic! Quote

crispen Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 hey, has anyone been to mall america? it is 4 stories high, and biger than legoland!but... it has an imagination center lego store!!! it was awesome going there yesterday! i didnt buy anything though cause my mom said so cause i got so much for christmas. and you know what stinked the most? WE FORGOT OUR CAMERA!!! !@##$#%! i cant beleive how big the models were! the dinosuar models where huge! and it was about half the size of a wal-mart supercenter! it was amazing! it was a minin lego-land! NO JOKE! let me tell you, i may never go to legoland until i save up money for tickets to fly, but that store was almost as good! i stayed in the store about 3 hours! and never got bored! and they had a HUGE pick-a-brick wall. oh. well.... but at least for a souveneir i got a free lego bag, a huge exo-force poster, (and it said you had to spend 20$ on it) it was free! anyone else been there? tell us about it! sam89 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 And what does this have to do with Batman? Quote
crispen Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 i got a big pic of the batman teaser described earlier on lego.com in an early release lego magazine Quote
crispen Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 larger pic for easier viewing pleasure: doesn't it look like killer croc is holding spiderman's head (i know marvel not dc)? i hope harley quinn is included with the joker set. i mean this pic but it will be bigger , and clearer. in 3 days. because were on vacation on Mn. and batman is the large bat at the top with all the othr bats. you can see him clearly in the mag. and killer Croc is not holding spidermans head. it is a red snake. the lego kind.
