Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted October 26, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted October 26, 2009 LEGO World had a huge Pirates display made by the member of BeLUG. This thread gives you an impression of their beautiful display. From left to right: Captain Green Hair, Teddy, me, Captain Blackmoor, Pally, Admiral Croissant More pictures (including the non-pirate stuff) is here. Quote
Rick Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 That's quite an impressive display. I didn't know some motorcycles were amphibious though. Quote
the Inventor Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 A nice display of pirates Lego. It's a shame I couldn't go this year, because I would have loved to see all those different displays. (next year I will definitely be there.) the Inventor Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 That is just amazing. I don't think I have ever seen that many blue baseplates all in one layout. Very cool to see! Quote

L-space Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Great display chase....aren't they Captain Green Hair and Bonaparte? To bad I had to miss out on this edition of Legoworld; family duties Maybe next year. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 That sure was a great day! It was much more fun than I had ever expected and I finally got some bluecoats there for a very reasonable price I'm sure I'll go there again Next year. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 next year I will definitely be there. Perhaps we can travel together, Fryslân boppe! I also shot some pictures at LEGO World: Me and Admiral Croissant on top of the mighty BeLug French fortress, we've found an ally. The large pirate layout overview. On the way back in the train we had some fun with our shopping booty. A fair price for those Bluecoats! Yes, I've bought a Captain Zuloo as well. More pictures, also other themes can be found here on Brickshelf, when moderated of course. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Great photos Bonaparte, thanks a heap for sharing them. On the way back in the train we had some fun with our shopping booty. A fair price for those Bluecoats! I love how the Admiral there is wielding a croissant. I thought he had it for eating purposes, not for attack! Very funny. Yes, I've bought a Captain Zuloo as well. Oh crap... Just make sure you put the camera in his left hand. Thanks for the photos Cap'n. Quote

J.L. Hornblower Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 First of all, sorry for my bad Englisch,I did'nt had the luck to get that item on school. Second, the lay out is from Belug not one member !!! Also the blue plates ! Third, only one man from this forum stepped forward to me and that was Bonaparte !! Nice to meet you ,btw. Fourth,I guess that it is more important to get a photo with your avatar on the scene to proof that you where there than to meet me ??!! I had my name tag on ,so you couldn't miss ,right Mr. Blackmoor ? (That I found out here on the forum because he asked me for taking the photo) By the way ,I get those blue imperials for two euro and you ????? ? So the big question, are you all ready to join the club next year with the lay out ?????? Can Bonaparte count on you all ??? Ready for the job Bonaparte ?? You have one year !! Oh,yes, I have 127 guns so make sure your boats have enough escape boats because I blow them all away !!! Anybody see the wall instead of the bows ?? I had the comment that those bows where a little to mutch. But with them you see the guns and the soldiers,so .............. Greetings from Belgium. Quote
General Armendariz Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Looks nice I wish I was there but, I live too far. Bluecoats for a cheap price! Good find Blackmoor. Quote

First of all I'd like to welcome you to Eurobricks! The photo wasn't taken to proof I was there, it was more to show the Redcoat fans on this forum the Blues are still very powerful. I had my 12 Bluecoats for 20 euros on Ebay, and the Bluecoats I've bought on Legoworld were 2 euros per minifig. I really want to join the club next year, so yes, Bonaparte can count on me! I hope my ship is ready next year. Perhaps there is a chance to build more smaller ships as well. Personally I think the bows in the fort were great, you can see the soldiers and cannons in there as you said, which is nice. I defenitely see you and BeLug next year! Quote
J.L. Hornblower Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Hi again, In willebroek nearby Antwerp I will see Bonaparte on a Belug day. So there we can go over all items for next year. Also there are older members and the officials of Belug to explain anything you need to know. Maybee we can put our army's together for a big fight, the reds against the blue ?? Looking forward to it !!!! Quote
Andre1983nl Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Nice pictures. My heart with bricks starts to run faster Quote
