Unforunately, filip, that's nothing new, production of the Cafe Corner was discontinued quite some time ago and now quantities are almost 100% depleted. So as Legoliner says, if you want it, you'd better hurry up and check if your local stores still have left-over copies of that set. Otherwise you'll be faced with skyrocketing prices for the Cafe Corner on Bricklink or eBay in time for Chrismas...

Luckily enough, I ordered ours through fellow EB member emilec just in time (~two/three weeks ago) and it has safely arrived a few days ago. In fact, us Otters kept ourselves busy building it last night :cry_happy: What a wonderful set that is!

It's still available from Toys R us online. Hurry up and buy your copy!

Well, I would, if I lived in the U.S, and had money over... Well Shipito could help with that!

But it isn't a must buy for me, unless I had the money...

As soon as I heard it was drying up overseas, I picked one up. It was a bit of a bummer spending that much money so close to my purchase of Fire Brigade, but I didn't want to risk not getting it!

" Sorry, item is not available in this country: United States."

I just bought a copy two weeks ago, too... I dodged a major, MAJOR bullet here. Too bad since I wanted to buy another copy, but still, better than nothing... I have the instructions, and I just want a 2nd floor extension, or I can draw the 2nd floor in LDD and order parts on Bricklink or something.

I noticed on Friday that CC had disappeared from S@H and was saddened by that. I knew it wouldn't be long before it was gone from North America as well, but I thought it was a bit odd that it went from "Available" to not listed at all - a complete lack of "Sold Out" or "Call to check availability". I phoned today to place an order for Green Grocer but asked about Cafe Corner... and to my surprise I was still able to order CC. So for those interested in acquiring the set, it might not hurt to phone in and see about buying CC as they might still have some left

Knowing the department store is comming in March, that could be on one street corner and right across on the opposite corner this first of the modulars. It would look just right and fitting too. Somewhere to shop, then grab a bite to eat, another prefect day in lego city.

First reply in about 2 years. Anyways, that sucks for me. I spent my just remade lego fund on Green Grocer. Then I also want to get some of those classic minifig sets. :classic:

Well the Cargo Train has disappeared from certain countries.

The Service Station is not for sale in the USA.

Yes LEGO must be cleaning up LSAH for next year.

The Cafe Corner has been around for a long time, longer than Market Street which got discontinued before Cafe Corner!

The cargo train is readily available from my south-Florida TRU. I wish they would sell the passenger train instead.

The Cement Mixer from the 2007 transport collection has been discontinued (luckily I bought a copy a week before, phew!), and I can only imagine that the Recycling/garbage Truck will soon follow suit. What puzzles me was that the harbor was the first set to be removed for the collection-- why would they take off the big sets first? Also, I really think that TLG should remove the Service Station, the Cement Mixer, and the train station from the city flash site. One can only imagine the disappointment a child would feel if they excitedly saw the set and quickly clicked on the "Check price" link and ended up finding out that the set is no longer available or in production. :cry_sad:

The cargo train is still available here, but for sale pretty much everywhere. They just released a superpack including the cargo train, the train station and the two rails packs: a sure sign this model's run is nearing its end.

I picked it up back in August, even though I wanted other sets more, because I knew this was going to be discontinued. That is one decision I do not regret! Good luck for those of you who are scrambling to pick this up! :cry_sad:

Thanks for the heads up mate! I'll be ordering the Recycling Truck and the Cement Mixer by the end of this weeks then... I've always loved those sets, it's just that I've kept myself busy chasing Exclusives lately... wouldn't miss out on those two for the world though!

So here in the USA, Cafe Corner is back in stock, under "Hard to Find" (same as GG and FB)

So, false alarm? A mistake? They seriously need to stop playing with my feelings.

Hi all,

I was closely following this issue but I forgot to post the result here, I apoligize.

the internal system shows that the cafe corners life cycle is coming to a close. Its very possible that they haven't produced any for a while and it will be trickling out until its sold out everywhere. In the countries where it shows sold out, it probably really is. unless it says backordered in which case you still have hope.

Yeah well it is still available in the USA but not many European conutries.

Also I completely agree with you about the sets being not for purchase in the USA!! :hmpf_bad:

If they remove it from one country, remove it from all countries and not have this "Not available in the USA" crap

Hmmm yeah why remove the Harbor and still have the Recycle Truck available? :hmpf:

I see the City Corner is back!
