Thanks everyone

Again a splendid creation SlyOwl, the bumper cars are very clever as is the merry-go-round. Perhaps you could do something with your next MOC involving bumpers similar to pe668's fantastic dodgems:

That looks really neat  I'd like to do something like that sometime.

I feel almost sorry for those poor orcs, especially for that one in the wheel.

I had put some human prisoners down there too, but it seemed too nasty, so I just reverted to species-ism

Man, you're on fire, don't you have anything else to do besides build?

A fair bit of stuff... but it's my new efficient sorting system that lets me build quickly now. Tan, green, greys - all close at hand!

The competitors at the bow and arrow stand are presumably the best of the aces. Because if they miss the target they could hit the people behind on the merry-go-around. :sceptic: Maybe change the sides of target and shooter.

Whoops  Should have thought about that!

The Ferris Wheel also looks great, though I think it needs more colour as it seems more bare than other parts. Though I think there should be one more dodgem car as that area there looks a little plain.

I know, it looks almost steampunk in its colour. Bummer. Just had a brain-wave. Wind the cord from a Legoland gold-panning medal around the wheel.

I ran out of crates  Must buy some more sometime.

Did you start building this before the start of the CCC?

Last Saturday, so a little headstart. I don't want a repeat of all the late-night builds of last year!

I really like how medieval-esque this is, it reminds me Robin Hood somehow, maybe it's the archery.

I would definitely have used a forestman hat on one of the archers if I had one... it reminded me of the RH story The Silver Arrow a bit.

One question:

How did you make the skid marks for the bumper cars?

Are they custom decals, or something else?

Official stickers, from a set I shouldn't really have bought - it was over-priced, and didn't work that well, but I keep finding uses for the pretty awesome sticker sheets!

All I'd like to have is a little link to some serious high-res pics for me to look at.

So many details and neat designs are lost in 800x600 pics. :cry_sad:

Sorry bro, I'll think of you next time

That's an awesome MOC, SlyOwl! :oh:

I really  it!

The details of the fair are stunning - and there are even some very funny elements, too! :oh:

The most I like the carroussel - the brick-built dragon looks perfect!

Very well done!

You never failed to impress anyone with any of your creations and this is no exception.

What an enjoyable and crowded scene in this medieval funfair. It's so lively and every minifig in there have a reason for its appearance and plus those looks on their faces, sure tell a thousand words.

The Ferris wheel, bumper car, merry go round, circus performance and archery grounds can be found in your MOC. In fact, all of them are very lovely, and I can't help myself to view this funfair on a continual basis. What's surprised me the most, is the underground power generator supported by those trolls and orcs. This is an innovative way of supplying power to these attractions. Outstanding piece of work, SlyOwl!

Thats just awsome! I love the dragon on the merry go round, great parts usage. The cage below is great as well, ive been toying with a few ways to make a gibbet cage and this is very inspirational. Great work again :classic:

Now that is a good moc, I mean I can stare at that for hours, the only improvement I could suggest is add some power functions to it, however its just fantasic, got to keep that, dont break it up

WOw, there is so much detail, and things goign on. I think the best detial by far is the skid marks from the bumper cars

Hey, did they have bumper cars back then?

Man, such an impressive diorama... it's a joy to pour over all the character and detail. There's so many highlight to this I wouldn't know where to begin in listing them. Just know that your work is truly appreciated - every one of your creations is superb!

I'd say keep up the great work but I know you will, you never disappoint!
