Snowmen for Winter Scenes

I'd make this a poll but I don't know how.

Anyways I'm planning my winter scene for my mom's Christmas tree this year. Last year I made something very quickly that didn't include a lot of snow.

So far I have found three official minifigure-ish scale snowmen...

Frankly I don't think the ones from the advent calendars are that great, but they are in minifigure scale. I really like 30008 but I think it might be too big.

So what type does everyone here build? Obviously if you build your own I'd love to see it!

On a side note, if anyone has any good ideas how to make footprints in snow, that would be helpful too. I remember a huge Hoth layout that had some nicely done.

There was another. You forgot the brand new one in the Winter Toy Shop. That's my favorite.

If you want all of the Snow man, there are about 10, most are ornaments.

I don't own any, but of the three I'd say I like 30008 the best. It has quite a bit of detail considering it's just a bit larger. I just like it more. The other two seem... to blocky and unrealistic. If I had to choose one over the other, I'd choose MMMB001. The arms work much better than 7687's. 7687's is just plain ugly.

MMMB001 also appears in last year's City advent calendar (minus the 1 x 1 round used as neck). I agree that the one from the Winter Toy Shop should be added. I like this one best.

I love the new Winter Toy Shop snowman, he's perfectly to scale, and that little scarf looks great.

I agree the one in the Winter Toy Shop is the best for town displays, but as a stand alone item, I like 30008

I have the one from the Toy Shop and this years advent calendar, and I was playing around this morning and found that the top half from the Toy Shop looks good on the bottom from the calendar.

I don't really like the one from this year's calendar, the broom looks strange and the black jumper plates look really out of place.

I agree with both points, I like having the big bottom.

Yeah the middle section is very weird to me, I don't get it at all.

For me, the Creator one is the best but it's a bit oversized for MF scale so I would vote for the 7687 one, simple and nice
