Rick Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 The "tame racing driver" who puts cars through their paces on Britain's Top Gear has been duplicated as part of a new line of Lego mini figures. As well as the Stig, the series features famous racing drivers, predominantly from formula one.Earlier this year, Top Gear crew members Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were immortalised in Lego as a stunt. But it appears Stig Lego figures will actually go on sale. Anyone have info if this is true? If yes, as part of what line/set(s)? Quote
chris_austin Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Anyone have info if this is true? If yes, as part of what line/set(s)? It's not really a minifig that needs a lot of detail anyway, especially the face! Easily MOC'd Quote
wooootles Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Some say that his body parts are modular... And that he is on the run from the Space Police. All we know is, he's called The Stig. Haha, seriously this is great news. Top Gear and LEGO---what's not to like? Even though my own Stig is just an easy mismash of parts from town sets, I'd stil like an official version. Hopefully though, they sell it here in the US. Quote
Jipay Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Some say I'd buy one of these. I'm praying for its release ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 What the ? Yes I want a Stig !!!!! It would be sweet to have a real minifig of him tearing around the streets of my town in the 8402 sports car ! Maybe it will in the Racer product range ? It would be way cooler than Speed Racer was ! Big Cam Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 What the crap! I will consume these figs. Top Gear is my favorite show period. I don't care if the Stig is just a printless white body, I want it! sweet. Earlier this year, Top Gear crew members Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were immortalised in Lego as a stunt. But it appears Stig Lego figures will actually go on sale. Anyone know what exactly this is referring to? I've seen all the episodes to date, I don't remember this. Quote
