Bobskink Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) I made these for the Battle Pack contest some time ago and finaly took some time to take pictures (which didn't turn out great, so I'll try to update the pictures with better ones). These two figures are my first atempt of a casting I made. I made a mold of both there heads and painted the afterwards. I didn't include the things hanging from Zuckuss his face since they were impossible to cast and they aren't helpful when trying to turn the head around. However, I made some small holes so that I can attach the hanging things if I want with another cast. Any comments?... Edited November 16, 2009 by Bobskink Quote
commdr_neyo Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) Those are really great! Especially because they're your first try at sculpy Edited November 16, 2009 by commdr_neyo Quote
Skipper 24 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Nice work, they look really accurate compared to their movie counterparts . I'm not a fan of the can thing protruding from Zuckuss' (?) face. However the paint job on these two easily makes up for that. Quote
Bobskink Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 ...I'm not a fan of the can thing protruding from Zuckuss' (?) face.... I understand, but it's there on the original one so I didn't really have a choice. But it can be removed if I make another cast. @ commdr_neyo These aren't my first sculpts (check my signature) but my first casts. I sculpted the head, made a mold and this is the first pair that came out of that mold. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Nice work, I can't imagine how hard it would be to mold a minifig head. Quote
